"Never say Never"

SO THANKS FOR THE INSPIRATION IF YOU EVER SEE THIS! Also by the way your comments (and everyone else's) mean the world to me. They helped a lot. Thanks y'all.


Never say Never, the words on the screen display

But somethings just don't happen. I don't want it this way.


I sat for years, and every single night

I cried into my pillow, then stared into the light


It burns out eventually, like most machines must do

I think that I'm a light bulb, but my glow is a deep blue


That was then and this is now, after maybe thirteen years

I finally see that I have grown, I've learned to accept tears.


Never say never, don't say that you can't change

Human life has ups and downs, and how you feel will range


You won't feel low forever, if you stay here one more day

Never is never real, and you won't always feel this way


Sure I break, like Tuesday night, when I couldn't even think

But I've learned to float, and I can fly, so It'll be a while 'fore I sink
