Several weeks later

Kim's pov

"So where are we going?"

"Shopping , I need clothes for the ball and a mask"

"Sure , let's go"

We both have been living in a town which wasn't far from my kingdom , what was his real purpose going to the ball?

"Macau"

"Hm?"

"What is your real purpose going to the ball?"

His smile faded , only some cold looks

"I know you're from the Frost Kingdom and you must have a purpose going to the ball because only people with dark magic can go there , they'll also check if there is any intruder"

"I still haven't think of that"

I let out a sigh , I still wondered what his real purpose was

"Let's go"

I nodded , we went to the shop , seeing many clothes for men and women

"This suit is pretty"

I turned around , seeing a pale blue suit , he was smiling

"Don't you think?"

He put it near him , showing me that the color matches him

"I love it but remember we're going to a dark ball"

I said , I took a suit , giving it to him

"Here"

The color was a dark , although it didn't matched him too much , the color doesn't match him at all but it's better to put something much darker than pale , it might arise people's suspicion

"What about you? Aren't you choosing a suit?"

"I've already choose a suit"

"Really? Show me!"

My outfit wasn't special although I'll not wear it , I'm the prince , that day , I'll be assisting everything there , I can't really stay near him too much

"Love , we should get some masks , it's already been an hour and I'm exhausted , I want to go home and sleep"

"You're such a lazy ass Kim"

I peak at his lips , he smiled and nodded , it's been several weeks since I've got to know about Macau's identity , although I don't knownhis real purpose going to the ball but I'm sure he have a good reason to do so , Macau and I have been together for a couple of weeks , I have crazily fallen in love honestly , he cares for me and loves me , he gives me the affection that my father doesn't

I put my arm around his shoulder , we've been staying in an inn for a while , we've been in toi much troubles moving towns from town , tomorrow was the ball , I need to leave early

"Love , tomorrow I'm gonna leave earlier than you"

"Why?"

"Let's say that , since I'm from the sonorous kingdom and also my father know the king , my presence there is important and also I'm in charge of organising the decorations"

Sometimes lying isn't bad but I'm doing it for my and his own good

"Oh , should I leave with you?"

"No its fine love"

I smiled , I need to make sure when he will come , we both went to the inn

"So , have you found a mask yet?"

"Not really"

He sat on the bed

"I can give you a mask"

I went to the drawer and took out a mask , I bought this mask a while ago , it has feathers around it , I gave it to Macau

"It's genuinely pretty!"

"Right? It's all yours"

"Thanks"

I kiss his forehead and sat down

"You pierced your ears?"

I nodded , guess he have never looked at my ears , my earring was quite long , my mouth were also pierced but he must have noticed it

"So cool"

I chuckle

"Why? You want yours to be pierced too?"

He layed on the bed and put his hands behind his head

"I wish but my father wouldn't let me , it's so wonderful that you got to do it"

Hid eyes was closed , I layed down next to him

"I didn't really ask my father , I usually do things my own way"

"Woah , such a rebel"

He chuckle , I got up and went to the bathroom , I coughed as I put my hand infront of my mouth , blood , I narrowed my eyes , that witch knows what the fuck she did to me , she poisoned me , I never noticed until 2 weeks earlier , I've been coughing blood , it's because she poisoned me

"Kim?"

I washed my mouth and got out

"Yeah?"

"You alright? You went to the bathroom rapidly"

He looked concern , I smiled

"No I'm fine love"

He pressed his head on my chest , I wrapped an arm around his waist and ruffle his hair , adorable , it was funnier that he was shorter than me

"I'm hungry"

"Let's go out and eat"

"No , I want to stay here"

"Lazy ass"

He rolled his eyes

"Fine , fine , I will buy us something"

He nodded , I went outside , I guess I could buy some dumplings , I bought some a d was going back , I noticed someone familiar in the corner of my eyes , I looked behind , shit! It was one of the guard of my kingdom , I quickly hid myself behind a wall , shit , I can't let them find me or else things will get messy

I peaked and saw them still there , man what an unlucky day , I bite my lower lip , if they find me , father will punish me but also I wouldn't be able to come out again , he will ground me for like a fucking month! I peaked and saw no guard , I still needed to be careful , I quickly went to the inn and went to our room , I let out a sigh

"What's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost"

"Nothing"

I put the food on the table and sat down

"Kim , what's wrong?"

I looked at him , oh? He looks mad , I blinked 

"I know when you're lying and it's not 'nothing' "

"I saw some guards of the sonorous kingdom here"

"What!?"

He panicked

"Calm down"

"How can I be calm!? What if they found me!?"

"They won't , just calm down plus I think they're already gone"

He looked down , I tilted his chin , I'm here so there's no need to be worry , he looked up , looking into my eyes , he slowly nodded

"Let's eat love"

He nodded , what were the guards doing here? Why were they here? Were they here for me? I doubt so because father wouldn't send guards to search for me , he doesn't give a damn about me , this was weird..
