ok so just so you know, Venice has actually improved her attitude over the years. She can still be a bit rude at times, but she is now one of my friends. ok, onto the story.
It was in early September, and me and Venice were chosen to represent our class in the school-wide singing competition. I was pretty confident, and already knew Venice would be the winner. I usually am in consolation, so I know what to expect.
On stage, I sang pretty well. I didn't make any mistakes, at least, I think so. When Venice sang, everyone was focused and watching her. Some teachers took out their phones and recorded her singing. ( which I admit, she is pretty good. She is pretty popular in school for her singing )
When they revealed the final marks, I was shocked to find out I was in second place! Second! I was so happy! My whole class cheered for me, especially my good friends Everrie and Valerie. Although I admit, Venice looked pretty annoyed to find out that I was in second. ( in our school, anyone who gets second place in any competition Venice is in is considered very very very good)
I really don't want to be hated by Venice again. We just mended our friendship. I'll do anything to protect it.
I hoped you liked this chapter!
