Chapter 20

Ahki's

Right now, I'm on my way to school, alone. Yes, I am alone. I don't know why but Ryo didn't go home last night. Yeah, must be busy with his so-called baby. I made my way to the class and sat in my desk. As usual, 'di parin nakikinig sa lessons. I'm just using school as a cover to hide. I already learned what I needed to learn back in Japan. And yes, I was homeschooled.

Lumingon ako sa labas ng Academy ng mapansin kong may shadow sa tabi ng puno. Kanina paba sila nandun? Are they looking at the students here sa Academy? They look suspicious.

"Okay, class dismissed." I automatically stood up and made my way to the bathroom to take a breather. To be honest, I just want to see what those two people outside are doing. They don't look like a student here in A.H Academy. Sumilip ako sa maliit ng space ng bathroom to see outside but I only saw the glimpse of the uniform of those two.

"Takahashi? Is that a Takahashi Uniform?" nangunot yung noo ko at tiningnan yung paligid ko at parang tumahimik. Fuck, nasabi ko yung laman ng utak ko.

"Um- sorry sorry." I smiled awkwardly and quietly walked away. I contemplated all the way back to the room and just slept. I didn't see a glimpse of Ryo even a bit. That as*hole.

I'm at the cafeteria right now, trying to eat my snack happily, pero syempre merong epal. Lumingon ako sa paligid ko ng mapansin kong may nakatingin sakin.

My eyes met with Louise. Even though our eyes met, he didn't even look away and just stared at me. What the hell? I know your eyes are keen Lou, but I ain't a bad hider for you to recognize me. Why are they even looking for me? 

Ang alam ko, alam nila na patay na'ko.

Did that old hag find out? I looked away when I noticed he was still staring at me. Inayos ko yung glasses ko at umalis na. 

I'mma go home.

Louise's

"What the hell Lou? kanina kapa nakatitig dyan. Sino bang tinititigan mo? Found someone you like?"   

Lumingon ako kay Nathan nung marinig ko sinabi niya. Was I really staring that long? It's just, he has the same features with Zero. I haven't seen Zero's full face because of the mask covering his eyes, but their lips and shape of the face are the same. Am I imagining things? baka dahil alam naming buhay si Zero, kaya delulu nanaman ako.

"Earth to, Lou." I snapped back to reality when I heard Syrine's voice. I glanced at Pierce and nakita ko namang nakatingin siya sakin.

"Meeting right now." We all stood up and followed Pierce to the Private Room.

Nakaupo kami sa sofa at tumingin kay Pierce. Tumikhim ako dahil ang tahimik, pero sinamaan lng ako ng tingin ni Scar.

"We're going to discuss the topic about Zero. As of everyone knows, he is alive. I refuse to believe it, but with all the evidence laid out, of course maniniwala nalang ako. And I know, even though Dalton is an a*shole, he won't lie to me. He probably did that because he wants us to be have a part in finding f*cktard Zero." After finishing what he said, lumingon siya sakin at nagsign na pwede na'ko magsalita. 

I contemplated a bit before speaking, "Actually, I've been eyeing someone for some time now. I got interested of him when we participated in the exchange of our school. I think kahit si Pierce, nakuha rin yung interest niya. But my thoughts got dispersed nung makita ko kung paano siya umakto. Napakalayo eh." mahabang saad ko. Lumingon ako kay Pierce na parang may sasabihin, but he chose to stay silent. 

"Who is it? and if nawala yung interest mo sakanya, why bother telling us this now?" napatingin ako kay Scarlet na blankong nakatingin sa'kin. Masaya akong lumingon sakanya at binigyan ng sagot yung tanong  niya.  "We already encountered him. This is him. Thank God I already prepared his file in my documents." inabot ko sakanila yung laptop ko at tiningnan naman nila ito. Pero hindi pa nagtagal ay tumawa agad si Nathan. 

"Pfft- him? HAHWHAHAHHWHA are you serious right now, Lou?" natatawang sabi ni Nathan at tiningnan ako ng may pagtataka.

"Do I look like I'm kidding?" natahimik naman siya sa sinabi ko. Nung lumingon ako kay Pierce para hingiin ang opinion niya, hindi siya umimik. Lumingon ako kay Syrine para alamin kung anong tingin niya, pero umiwas lang siya ng tingin.

"I know you guys are doubting me right now, but I'm sure he's him!" nakangiti kong saad. Tiningnan nila ako na parang hinihingi pa yung paliwanag ko kung bakit sa tingin ko ay siya si Zero, kaya I clicked the file Zero from my laptop and read the details to them. 

"According here sa data, Kiyoshi Satō transferred in Takahashi 3 years ago and also he's a half Japanese. Kung titingnan niyo rin pati ang mata, hugis ng mukha at pati yung labi niya ay parehas na parehas kay Zero. He may look weak, but I know you guys know that if Zero would go in to hiding, of course he won't let anyone know. I know I'm not providing a concrete evidence, but I'll find some more info and prove it." nakahinga ako ng maluwag at ngumiti ng makita kong medyo nag agree sila sa sinabi ko, pero nawala ito ng magsalita si Pierce.

"Paano mo nasisigurado na that's him? how can YOU be so SURE that the incident from way back won't be repeated?!" nagulat kami sa pagtaas ng boses ni Pierce. 

"Trust me in this. I know I don't have enough evidence but, I know he is Zero." mahinahon kong sagot sakanya. Napaigtad ako ng marahas na tumayo sa Pierce at naglakad papalapit saakin, pero pinigilan siya ni Nathan. "Cool down, bro. I know what happened from 3 years ago still hurts you but, Let's trust Lou in this first." matiim na tiningnan ni Pierce si Nathan at huminga ng malalim.

"I don't even know why you guys still looks for that a*shole. Such a pain in the ass." bumuntong hininga sya at nag-isip. "I'll ask Ax for some informations about that guy."

Gulat na tumingin si Syrine kay Pierce at nagtanong, "Are you seriously gonna ask Dalton about that?" he just chuckled and ginulo ang sarili niyang buhok, "We may be rivals, but we don't a grudge from each other. It's more like we both have a grudge on the same person. Same person. We'll get along, I think."

I sighed in relief. This is it. It's starting to connect. "A student saw that Kiyoshi got kidnapped and got taken by a van with no plate number before we went to Takahashi Academy." their eyes were focused on me and gave me a questioning look. "I think, that's already a big lead. He came back in one piece."

"So you mean he got kidnapped and returned the next day like nothing happened? baka naman the police helped him." sabi ni Syrine at tinaasan ako ng kilay. Sasagot na sana ako pero sinabat siya ni Nathan. 

"That would be impossible. Even if the student that saw the kidnapping report the incident, they can't track the car without a plate number. And also, it looks like the student doesn't even care if he dies. It looks like everyone hates him sa school na yun e, because he's the dog of the PRG." nakahalukipkip na paliwanag ni Nathan. I just kept silent since nasabi niya na lahat ng gusto kong sabihin eh. 

"I think, Let's start with questioning the student that saw the incident. And if that's the situation that he was kidnapped with no one to help him, It is still impossible that he returns the next day. If ever na tumakas siya mag-isa, without the right skills, it would be impossible to escape with just a day. And lastly, he is not a son of some billionaire to get kidnapped. He's an orphan, right?" lumiwanag lalo ng marinig namin yung mga sinabi ni Scarlet. After that, Pierce spoke, "Then that's it. We'll head to Takahashi tomorrow. Be ready. I know it won't be an easy task to talk to them."
