It was saturday morning. Louis was lying in bed, holding the polaroid picture of him and Harry.
The curly guy came into the room with a tray.
"Feel like breakfast?" he asked Louis as he set it down on his bedside table.
Louis nodded.
"Are waffles with maple syrup okay?" Harry sat down on the edge of the bed.
"Yeah." Louis got out of himslelf after he shifted to sit up.
Harry only then noticed Louis was holding onto the picture of the two of them.
"Like that photo?" he smiled at his boy.
Louis solely nodded to that.
He parted his lips a couple of times, trying to say why it meant so mich to him, but he couldn't.
Harry smiled at him with tears visible in his eyes.
"It's okay love. Let's just eat something now, yeah?" Harry liked to cut Louis his food. He didn't want to feed him. He just wanted to make eating easier for him. So, he cut up all of Louis' waffles before he placed the plate into Louis' lap.

"Hope you like them." Louis frowned as soon as he grabbed his fork.
"Something wrong? Do you need anything?" Harry caught up on it immediately.
"Where?" Louis managed to get out of himself as he pointed down on his plate.
"Where is what Lou?" Louis concentrated really hard, but he couldn't seem to get the words out. He created an okay gesture with his hand instead, showing that to Harry.
Harry thought about something circular that Louis would-
"Last time there were blueberries on top, right?" Louis nodded in response.
"I'm sorry, but we don't have any blueberries this time." Louis frowned again, dropping his fork down.
"I am sorry. Next time I will make sure we have them, yeah? You need to eat now, Lou." But Louis just shook his head stubbornly. He wanted the same waffles like the last time. He wanted blueberries.

"I will get you blueberries when I go to the grocery store, alright?" but Louis didn't want to hear that.
He wanted them on his waffles right then. Harry sighed, looking down to his plate, before he got up.
"Okay, I am gonna get you the blueberries now." Harry was a bit fed up with Louis' mood swings. Of course that he wanted him to be okay and have everything he needed, but Harry wanted just a little bit of peace and that was nearly impossible these days. Louis needed him almost all the time and that was nice but also draining. Harry didn't look back once before he left, which later made him stress out. He didn't even say a 'see you soon' to Louis. So, he made his way to the nearest shop rather quickly. He was lucky, because they had a big box of blueberries that he could purchase.

Louis was still in bed, but something wasn't quite as before.
He was full on crying while squeezing the polaroid picture of him and Harry in his hand. The picture was bent quite a lot since Louis grew really attached to it in the last week. It seemed like it was going to break in half soon.
"Louis?" Harry walked over to him.
The blue eyed brunette only cried more when he saw Harry approaching him.

"S-s-s-o-r-r-y." he stammered out.
Harry put Louis' plate back on the tray, so he could pull him into a hug.
"It's okay. I know it's hard. It's hard for the both of us." Harry held him tight, trying to comfort him.
Louis opened his mouth once again, praying for the words to come out.
"Harry." he managed to say after a little while, but the next words weren't coming out.
"Lo-ve y-you." he squeezed his eyes shut. Did harry hear him?
"I love you too, Lou." the green eyed one pulled away.
"Now, let's wash some blueberries and add them to our breakfast." he left Louis on his own for a moment.

When Harry returned, he brought a bowl of blueberries with him, sprinkling some on the top of their waffles.
Harry put Louis' plate back into his lap, so he could finally eat.
"Is it good now?" Louis grabbed his fork, looking up at Harry with a smile. He showed him a thumbs up as an answer.
"Welcome. The blueberries really make it better." Harry admitted, before he digged into his own portion.

Later that evening they were cuddling on the couch while watching Louis' favourite movie, Venom.
During the day Louis tried to talk more, but it was really hard. However, he still didn't want to give up.
He was snuggled up to Harry's chest, both of them wearing their Arctic Monkeys merch to keep warm.

Louis knew that Harry had said the movie they were watching was his favourite. But if it was his favourite... why didn't he remember the ending?
Louis tugged on Harry's sleeve, which made Harry look down on him. Louis stared at him with a frown on his face.
"What's wrong?" Harry asked while caressing Louis' hair.

He could see Louis was trying really hard to tell him.
"Movie." he got out of himself eventually.
"What's up with it?" Harry tried to read Louis' facial expressions but it was quite hard.
Louis pointed at himself before he pointed to the screen and shook his finger in a no way.
"You don't want to watch it anymore?" Louis shook his head in response.
"Okay, then...?" Harry asked.
"End." he got out of himself.
"How is it gonna end?" the smaller one nodded.
"You don't remember, baby?" Louis looked up to meet Harry's eyes momentarily, before looking down in shame, and shaking his head no.
"Hey, it's okay. Well, it can be a surprise for you then. You will see, yeah?" Louis nodded, letting Harry place kisses into his hair.
He felt tears building up in his eyes. He didn't want to be like this. He just wanted to be the way he was before.

When the movie had ended Louis didn't move. He just kept staring on the screen. It felt new... more like half of the movie felt new to him. He wished Harry was just pulling a prank on him by changing some scenes in the movie, but that wasn't possible.

"Ready to go to bed?" Harry asked, looking down on Louis once again.
Louis nodded as an answer before he got up from the couch.
Harry just looked up at him with a tender smile playing on his lips.
"Gonna shower?" Louis solely nodded.
"Okay. I am gonna go after you." he took the remote to put something on for a little while, but Louis didn't like that.
"With." his voice came off super quiet.
"With me? Wanna shower with me?" Harry wanted to make sure he understood it right.
That was something new. They had never showered together before.
"You sure, love?" Harry arched his brow at him.
Louis nodded, already pulling Harry up onto his feet.
"Okay, okay!" he switched off the TV, throwing the remote onto the couch, before he followed Louis into the bathroom.
