"M-y...Ji ....my... baby" Jungkook wrapped his arms around his son, who was still asleep, but stirred awake upon hearing his appa's sobs. "Appa, why are you crying?" the little boy asked, gently wiping away his appa's tears and planting a kiss on his cheeks. Jungkook smiled and cupped his son's face, saying, "I'm sorry, jiho. Appa is really bad. I—
Jungkook felt so foolish, tears streaming down his face as he thought about what could have happened if Jimin hadn't saved his son in time. He couldn't even bear to imagine it. Quickly, he shook his head, pushing away those dark thoughts. Ji-ho was safe and right there with him, but he couldn't even imagine losing his son, never. "I'm sorry, Ji-ho," he said softly, kissing his son's face. Little Jiho hugged him tightly, saying, "No, don't be sorry... My appa is my hero and a good person. Don't say that, appa. It's my fault, not yours!" As Jungkook pulled back, Jiho lowered his head.
"I am sorry," Jiho said. "I made you worry, right? Appa? So I am bad." But Jungkook shook his head and hugged him again, whispering that his son was the best in the world, not bad at all. Meanwhile, Jimin stood at the door, watching them with loving eyes. When Jiho noticed him, he smiled, but Jimin quickly looked away and left them alone.

"Jimin, stop. Don't cry, aishhh," he told himself as he wiped away his tears. He set a pot on the stove to make some soup when Jungkook walked into the kitchen, holding Jiho in his arms. He quietly stood behind Jimin, not saying a word, feeling embarrassed and unsure of how to apologize properly. But how?
When Jiho noticed his appa looking confused, with his brows furrowed together, he whispered, "Appa." Jungkook glanced at him, but before Jiho could say anything, Jimin turned around and raised an eyebrow. "You want something?" he asked, leaving Jungkook speechless, blinking and staring at Jimin without a word.
Jiho mentally slapped his forehead, thinking he needed to do something. "No, but I want something, angel. I mean, since we're leaving, I want to give you a hug before we go," Jiho said, lifting his arms to hug Jimin and pulling Jungkook along with him. Jimin quickly ran over and embraced him, but in the process, his hands brushed against Jungkook's shoulders, and his eyes widened as he felt a jolt of electricity run through him.
They were so close; Jiho was hugging Jimin without realizing he had pulled his appa in too close, and Jimin found himself lost in Jungkook's doe-like eyes, only to look at Jiho when the little boy kissed his cheeks.
"Bye, goodnight, angel," Jiho said as he left, and Jimin remained in the same spot, touching his cheeks.
