Jungkook was lounging on his balcony couch with a book, taking a day off from his work today since he wasn't feeling great. The apartment was quiet with just him there - Jiho was at school and Jimin was off at uni. But he couldn't stop his mind from wandering to Jimin and remembering how his son had sobbed in his arms, wanting something that just couldn't happen. He and Jimin could never be a thing.

Jimin already had someone.

Plus, Jimin was just a young boy while he was a grown man with an 8-year-old kid. He couldn't mess up Jimin's life like that. He had to get these feelings under control.

It wasn't right.

And now he'd have to keep his son away from Jimin too.

He couldn't bear the thought of his boy getting broken at the end.

Just then, his head snapped up when he heard Jimin's voice drifting up from below. Looking down, he spotted him walking hand-in-hand with his boyfriend.

Seeing them so close together made his chest tight with pain, and when Taehyung planted a kiss on Jimin's cheek before heading off, jealousy flared up inside him.

"You showed up early today," Jungkook said coldly. Jimin halted in his tracks as Jungkook approached him, feeling uneasy about older male's hard expression.

He nodded, placed the cupcake bag on the table, and turned back to him with a soft smile. "Yeah, well, we skipped class. I wasn't in the mood to study, so we went on a date and h-" But before he could finish, Jungkook gripped his arm tightly.

"Are you out of your mind? How could you skip class? Seriously, Jimin, I thought you were a good student, but here you are wasting your time. Your finals are next month!" He spoke sternly, trying not to raise his voice at Jimin, but he felt angry and jealous seeing him with his boyfriend. He knew he shouldn't feel this way, but his heart had other ideas.

Meanwhile, Jimin felt hurt by Jungkook's outburst, remembering of his father's tone. As thoughts of his dad crossed his mind, his eyes began to well up. "Why are you yelling?" he asked, trying to keep his emotions in check.

"I'm not yelling, I'm just saying, Jimin," Jungkook shouted again.

Jimin stared at him, wide-eyed. "N-o, you're yelling at me! But why? You look so angry, hyun-g, why?" Jungkook didn't respond; instead, he released Jimin's arm, causing Jimin to step back.

"You shouldn't be angry! Don't act like my dad! It's my life! So what if I skipped class to go on a date with my boyfriend?" he said, tears welling up. Jungkook's anger intensified as he turned away, holding his head. "Stop saying 'boyfriend'!" he yelled.
But Jimin felt sad and upset; how could Jungkook treat him like this, as if he were his father? He didn't like this side of him.

So, he asked him again, why are you angry? But Jungkook didn't respond, and when Jimin asked once more, Jungkook suddenly spun around, shoved him against the wall, looming over him. He grabbed Jimin's arms tightly, and Jimin's eyes filled with tears. "It's hu-rt-ing," he said, a tear rolling down his cheek. Seeing this, Jungkook snapped back to reality, his heart breaking at the sight of Jimin's tears. He realized what he was doing and quickly let go. "I'm hurting too, Jimin, I-" he started, but hesitated. He couldn't admit that it hurt to see Jimin with someone else. His feelings for Jimin were intensifying with every moment, and he couldn't control them.

But Jimin had a boyfriend and seemed happy with him. Jimin would never be his, and what if one day Jimin vanished from their lives with his boyfriend? That would hurt his son, who was getting attached to Jimin. He needed to prevent his son from getting hurt; he had to stop Jimin from getting closer to Ji-ho.

"Pack your bags, Jimin, you're going back to your apartment."
