"Mom sent you for us"

The small child sat alone in his bedroom, tears falling down his face as he wrapped his small arms tightly around himself. His heart felt completely shattered.....The words his angel had spoken earlier echoed in his mind-that he wasn't his mother and would never marry his father.

To his innocent heart, this could only mean one thing: Jimin would leave both him and his father, just as his mother had left.

The thought terrified the little boy.

He couldn't bear to see Jimin leaving their lives. He had grown so attached to him who had become an angel to their small family. Jimin had entered their world like a ray of sunshine piercing through dark clouds, bringing happiness and warmth where there had once been emptiness and sorrow.

Ji-ho had saw how Jimin cared for his father, watching with pure joy as his Appa's face lit up with genuine smiles and laughter whenever Jimin was around. For so long, his father had seemed lost and distant, but Jimin's presence had breathed new life into him. The boy loved seeing his father so happy and alive again, and he desperately wanted that happiness to continue forever.

So, for him if Jimin became his father's spouse, then they could all be a proper family, right?

But Jimin had refused his innocent proposal.

Now, as he sat crying and pouting in his room, he heard the familiar sound of Jimin's knuckles rapping against his bedroom door.

He slowly lifted his face and wiped his runny nose with the back of his small hand.

"Ji-ho, please let me come in," Jimin's voice called out desperately from the other side of the door, filled with concern. "Open the door, bunny. Please don't cry, my precious boy. I know I hurt you, and I'm so very sorry, but please give me a chance to explain everything properly. Please, baby."

Jimin's pleas grew more frantic as he continued knocking, even banging on the door with increasing urgency. But Ji-ho remained silent, refusing to respond or unlock the door. He simply continued crying, his small body shaking with each sob.

"Please, my little bunny, le-t me i-n," Jimin's voice cracked with emotion, and soon his own tears began to run from his eyes. His worry for the child was consuming him entirely, thinking about what Ji-ho might be doing alone in that locked room. "Ji-ho, plea-se," he begged through his sobs.

The moment Ji-ho heard those heartbroken sobs coming from his angel, something inside him shifted completely. His own heart ached and without hesitation, he scrambled to his feet and rushed towards the door, his small fingers fumbling with the lock until it clicked open.

"Angel," he whispered.

The sight that greeted him was heartbreaking - Jimin was collapsed on the floor and tears falling down his face. Without wasting a single moment, Ji-ho threw himself into Jimin's arms, holding on as tightly as his small arms would allow.

Jimin immediately wrapped his arms around the boy and drew him onto his lap, tears streaming down both their faces.

"Don't cry, Angel. I'm so sorry, I ju-st-" but Jimin gently held his face, brushing away Ji-ho's tears. "No, I'm the one who's sorry for hurting you, love. It's just complicated, Ji-ho. I hope you can understand what I'm going throug-h," he said, desperately hoping the child would get it.

Ji-ho stayed quiet. Jimin shut his eyes briefly, and when he opened them, he saw Ji-ho starting to speak. "I don't really get it, but I really want you to marry my Appa be-cause I want to call you mo-m. You don't realise how much I love yo-u, angel. It feels like mom sent you to u-s."

Jimin could see how pure and innocent he was, how deeply this little boy cared for him. The emotions hit him hard right then-this kid actually wanted to call him mom.

"You're going to leave me, aren't you, angel? You've a boyfriend, you're going to-" Jimin quickly pulled him close and shook his head, completely lost for words. They held each other tight like that, neither wanting to let go.

Meanwhile, Jungkook stood a bit away from them, taking in every word.
