“Getting close”
It was Sunday morning, which meant it was a day off, and guess what? Jimin was still fast asleep even though it was already 11 o'clock. The sun was high up and shining bright rays right onto his gorgeous face, messing with his peaceful sleep, so poor Jimin woke up feeling pretty annoyed. He got up and kept rubbing his eyes, but everything still looked fuzzy and he felt sleepy all over again.
But he had to get up because his stomach was making all sorts of hungry noises and he needed some yummy food. So he slowly put his feet down on the cold floor tiles, got a bit of a chill, and shuffled off to the bathroom to sort himself out for the day. Once he'd finished getting ready, he headed downstairs to cook something to eat.

"Mmm, that smells amazing," Jimin said, licking his lips as the delicious smell of banana milk and apple honey smoothie filled the air. He poured the smoothie into a sparkling glass and got to work making veggie sandwiches. When breakfast was ready, he clapped his hands together like an excited kid, practically bouncing on his toes.
"I'm fucking starving," he muttered to himself as he set everything on the table and sat down, rubbing his hands together eagerly, ready to dig into his delicious breakfast. Just as he was about to take his first bite of sandwich, the doorbell rang, interrupting his peaceful meal time. He sighed, got up, and headed to the door. When he opened it, there stood Jiho with his dad.
What are they doing here?
"Goodmorning, angel," Jiho said with a wave and a bright smile. Jimin was just about to say hello when Jungkook jumped in, "Sorry to bother you, but Jiho really wanted to see you. He wouldn't listen to a word I said, so I had to bring him over. Hope that's alright." Jungkook seemed a bit nervous around Jimin, and who wasn't, Jimin was quite charming and beautiful.
Jimin nodded slowly and opened the door wider to let them in. "N-no worries at all, come on in Jiho. Ah, Jungkook, I mean hyung, you're welcome to stay too. I've just made breakfast ......if you'd like some..."
"Too right, we actually haven't had anything to eat yet," Jungkook said cheerfully as he stepped into the flat with Jiho. That's when the little boy dropped his dad right in it: "Dad can't cook for anything, and angel, did you know he nearly burned down our kitchen?"
"Jiho!" Jungkook said, trying to hold his son, but Jiho had already hopped onto a chair and made himself comfortable. Jimin sat down next to him, trying his best not to crack up laughing. Jungkook joined them at the table and thanked Jimin when he dished up the food.
"You're such a brilliant cook, Jimin. When I was your age, I couldn't even manage to boil water properly." Jimin let out a little laugh, but it died away when Jungkook called him beautiful. "Oh, I meant your smile and laugh are beautiful, yeah!" Jungkook rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly, looking down while gripping his spoon tight. He couldn't believe he'd just called Jimin beautiful - he hadn't used that word to describe anyone since his wife passed away. His eyes drifted back to Jimin, who was quietly enjoying his smoothie, completely oblivious to being watched.
He couldn't deny it though—Jimin really was beautiful.
More beautiful than anyone he'd ever seen.
