“They both love each other, but there's still time before they can be together”

"Angel, you need to eat something, please," little Ji-ho pleaded with a pout when he noticed Jimin hadn't touched his food. It bothered him to see his angel looking so upset with those teary eyes. When Jimin didn't reply, Ji-ho gently raised his head and softly caressed Jimin's cheek, causing him to look up. "It's going to be alright, angel. Just trust me. I might not understand why you're upset or what made you cry, but you should know," he said, holding Jimin's face in his small hands.

This made Jimin stop dwelling on thoughts of his father and focus on what Ji-ho was saying. "Ji-ho's right here with you. Whenever you're feeling down or lonely, I'll be here," the little boy declared with the confidence of someone much older. He'd always been like that - wise beyond his years and deeply caring about everyone around him.

Now that Jimin had become important to him, he would do anything for him, believing Jimin truly deserved it.

Jungkook watched with pride as his son spoke so gently and showed such care toward Jimin. He felt satisfied knowing he'd raised his boy with proper values.

Hearing Ji-ho's heartfelt words finally brought a small smile to Jimin's face.

"Appa and I are both here for you, angel, so please don't cry anymore because I can't stand seeing m-y angel ups-et, and Appa," Ji-ho turned toward his father, "Appa doesn't like seeing you sad either because he cares about you too, don't you, Appa?" Ji-ho asked with a bright smile as Jungkook quickly agreed with a nod.

"See!" Ji-ho exclaimed, planting a gentle kiss on Jimin's cheek. "Now please eat."

This time, Jimin happily accepted the food as Ji-ho beamed and continued feeding him. It seemed as though Ji-ho had taken on a motherly role. The three of them together looked absolutely adorable, just like a proper family.

Jungkook glanced over at Jimin, his eyes full of worry. Sure, he was relieved to see him eating and looking okay, but he couldn't shake his concern. He'd never actually seen Jimin cry before.

"That's it, angel. Now you need to get some sleep, yeah? Come on, appa, let's let our angel have a rest," Ji-ho said, giving Jimin's head a gentle pat. He could tell Jimin was still feeling down, so the little boy wanted him to get some proper rest. But Jungkook told his son to head back to his apartment and that he'd be along later, saying he had a few things to sort out with Jimin. So Ji-ho gave a nod, said goodnight to Jimin, and left the two of them on their own.

"Jimin," Jungkook called out, his voice carried a gentle concern as he slowly stood up from his position and walked towards Jimin. But, Jimin remained silent, his gaze fixed down on the white marbles, refusing to look up at Jungkook or meet his eyes.
