Part 6

In school the next day, I grab my books. I look over my shoulder at Addison steps into the building. Fuck she looks hot, she looks over at me with a smile. I look over where Serenity should be but I knew she wasn't here yet.

"Great," I say as the mob starts coming in

"Don't they ever get tried?" Keefer ask

"It looks like they would," I say

"What is Addison Murphy doing?" Keefer asked

I watched as Addison squeeze her way between all the other girls until she was face to face with me. "Hey," she says

"Hey," I say

"Looks like you could use a little help," she tells me

I grab her hip, pulling her toward me. "Are you here to help me?" I ask, a smile on my face

"Wow, talk about low standards," someone says

I almost snap. Addison pulls me back to her. "Don't worry about it. Let me take care of you."

I lean down to kiss her, but stop midway, my eyes darken. I straighten up.

"What's wrong?" Addison asks.

"Somethings wrong with Serenity," I tell her. "Stay here," I tell her.

"What happened?" I hear Keefer ask before I take off out of the school.

I can sense her nearby. I head out into the woods close to the school, shifting as I get closer. I run through there hearing as someone else is running as will. The grass and dead leaves beneath my paws crumble. I can smell her sweet scent vallian and Jasmin. Rage cause throught my veins as the scent of copper fells the air. I spot her over by the river she lays on the bank. Her black hair tangled mess, her body bathed in blood. She's naked and barely breathing. Before I get to her I hear a loud rumble from up ahead looking at her then howling out I take off after the fucking ass holes that hurt my mate.

They get ahead a take off west, I trun back needing to take care of Serenity. As I get to were I had jumped Keefer is there waiting. Like me he's in wolf form.

"What's going on," he asked

"Get back to the school call my dad tell him we need some clothes" I tell him

He nods, taking off, and I head up to Serenity. I growl as I see Addison there holding onto her. Shifting, I look down at her.

"I told you to stay at the school," I shout at her

"I'm sorry, is she alright?" she cries

"She's barely holding on,"

I go down bringing some water up to wash her face. "Come on baby, wake up," I tell Serenity

"I'm sorry," Addison cries again

I cup her face, placing my forehead on hers. "It's OK, I'm sorry I screamed at you," I tell her. "I'm just scared," I admit

The sounds of leaves crunching stills me "get behind me." I tell Addison I trun around Keefer has returned. He looks at us confused. "What is it?" I ask him

"Your father, he's here," he tells me

I nod. "Go on ahead," I tell him

"Addison, .." he says, but I don't let him finish

"Go on ahead, Keefer," I tell him, and I know my Alpha wolf just came out

"Yes, sir," He says, truning he takes off back the other way

"Shift," I tell Addison

She does so, and I gently pick Serenity up into my arms. Covering her the best I could, all three of us start for the edge where the school meets the woods. My father is there waiting for us when we get there.
