Serenity's POV

I set in front of the vanity mirror. Today is my eighteen birthday. My eyes are focused on the girl in the mirror. My twins are playing on the floor beside me. They were such good babies.

"You look so beautiful today, Serenity," Addison says, coming into the room

"Thank you." I smile

"Something wrong," she asked

"I can feel her," I tell her my eyes on her in the mirror

"Who sweetie"

"My wolf"

"OH, this is exciting." she smiles

"I'm scared, Addy," I tell her

She comes to me kneeling down her arms warp around me from behind. "It's going be alright," she tells me

"You smell amazing," I tell her with a little laugh

"So do you," she tells me

I lean down, giving her a kiss. "What are you two doing?" Zac asked as we part

"Serenity has some good news," Addison tells him, standing

"Really," he says

"I feel my wolf," I whisper

"That's great," he says, crossing the room. "You don't look happy."

"She's scared, Zac,"

"You scared of the shift?" he asked

"Yes."

He pulls me up out of the seat. "Let's go running," he says

"Zac," I say

"Just the three of us, just running nothing else," he tells me

"What about the.."

"I'll have mom watch them. I want you comfortable Serenity, " he tells me, and I'm reminded of the night we were sitting in his car

"Ok," I whisper

We start out of the house "Mom would you watch the kids for us for a while?" Zac asked

"Sure, what's going on?" she asked

"I'm taking the girls out running," he tells her

Her eyes widen "Serenity you got your wolf."

I smile
"We won't be gone long, just need to get Serenity used to shifting," Zac tells her

She nods. "Be careful."

We step out onto the porch, taking the car to the park we get out. Addison is a head of us she looks so happy. We get to a clear area, and Zac truns to me.

"We'll start here," he says. "No one's around. No one can see us," he says, "go ahead and undress."

I blush after all these years, and I still blush when he tells me to undress. He smiles as I do as told. Him and Addison undress as well.

"It's going hurt, isn't it?" I ask

"The first time always hurt, baby," he tells me

I nod. "Don't worry, Seren, we're here with you," Addison says

I smile. "Call her forward," Zac tells me

I nod again. I open my mind up, and I can see her my wolf. She was beautiful ash gray fur with white paws. And big, her name was Rain.

"Zac," I call out as I feel the first shift

"It's alright, baby," he says

I scream out as my bones begin to break and rearrange themselves. Tears stream down my face as my arms and legs bow backward, and I fall to my knees and hands. Gray fur bruns like fire as it starts to pop up all over my body, completely covering me. My eyes get smaller, but I see better my ears, bigger and pointer. My nose wider longer my mouth and jaw narrow. I whimper as I complete the shift for the first time. Zac runs his hands through my fur to comfort me.
