5: Encounter with a Pret

Doctor! Doctor!, a nurse in the hospital shout as she saw a patient becoming unstable. After listening her shouting, a near by doctor runs towards her and asked, What happen? and Nurse replied, Doctor! the patient is unstable? I didn't know what the cause is but, when I checked into this room, the patient was getting attacks. Doctor asked the nurse, But he is stable now. Let me check his report and who is this patient. Give a summary about that too. Nurse replied, Yes doctor. She continues, This patient is a 39 years old male, he is a patient from prison, he murdered his friend in fraud case. He has been in prison since 3 years, and few days back he got a heart attack and since than he is been our patient, and-. Doctor cuts her word in between and said, oh I am not asking his life history, I am asking about his current status, doctor who care of this patient such information. Okay. And by the way, you said he is from prison, than where is the gaurds? They're not outside. So, who is the doctor? Nurse asked for forgiveness and said, Sorry Doctor. Oh and Dr. Kumar has been caring for this patient. And the last status of the patient is "scheduled for discharge" [a patient who is going to discharge soon after 1-2 days of observation] but today when I checked him, he was unstable. And about the gaurds, I think they went washroom or to eat something maybe, I don't know.

Doctor said, Okay, and where is Dr. Kumar why he is not here yet? And by the way don't think it's little cold here specially the ground. Hmm?
Nurse replied, Yes Doctor, it a little cold, and I feel only this room is cold only, I don't know why but about Dr. Kumar, he left earlier because his shift was over last night, and this patient is only here for observation maybe that's why he didn't stay.
Doctor replied, I think the report is good and by looking at the condition of the patient, he is okay but anyway you can give him a bottle of glucose, maybe he lacks energy that's why he was unstable earlier. Doctor give back the progress report to nurse and left the room and after glucose infusion, nurse left too and when she left, the guard of the room from P.D. ( Police Department) comes back on his place. Aah, finally they left, now I can take as much as energy from this patient, Aah yes more, and more. And after absorbing all of his energy, I will go inside this body and use this body as my new host. Aah, i think he got some more energy, nice. A malicious voice below the bed of the patient speaks. It's a pret ( Evil Soul ) who live on the body of humans as a parasite. First, it voids the body of the victim by sucking all the energy and than use their body as host and do evil acts. When they take over the body, for first few days, they couldn't walk and talk properly and the body have very deep dark circles under their eyes, the pupil of eyes are not present, there is no sign of breathing and they need blood and energy of living humans until they become fully comfortable with their new host body. They need atleast a week to become comfortable with the new host body. The host after loosing all its energy become half dead and his soul is controlled by Pret.

At the restaurant, Nikhil and Aman are working together with other workers. Jiya is taking orders and payment from the customers. Suddenly, Jiya got a signal from Spirit World, and so the others. Aman got the same but he didn't understand and continue to serve the customers. Rohit and Shital comes down from the kitchen and asked for Rohan and Rohit go outside through the main door. Jiya goes to basement. Nikhil saw Aman doing his work, so he goes towards him and said. Aman! What are you doing? Didn't you got the single, Nikhil said in his low voice in Aman's ear. Aman replied, Signal? what signal? Nikhil replied, I will tell you later, but for now come outside, we need to go. Aman looked at him with curious eyes and follows his direction. On the way, Aman see Shital asking Rohan to handle the restaurant. Rohan looked at Aman and Nikhil passing together and than he continue his chatting with Shital. Jiya comes back from the basement and goes outside. Aman didn't understand why there is a storm in the restaurant. Rohit comes outside with a Van in front of the main door and asked for everyone to get in. Jiya and Shital immediately run and took their seats, Shital sits in the front, Jiya seats in the back. Looking them, Nikhil grabs Aman's hand and take steps fast. They sit in the back seat with Jiya and closed the door. Jiya put his hands on her chest and went to Spirit world. As soon as she goes there, Maya said to her, Jiya, Hospital, its in a hospital, i am not sure because of Megham, but it was there last time when i find out. Go, there and catch before its too late. Jiya nodded her head and asked Maya, Okay Maya but what's the type did you find out? and Maya replied, When Megham was there, it used absorption power, so may be Evil Soul but still be careful, it can be something else too. I will try to locate it again if it comes under Megham again. Jiya said okay and left the Spirit World and wake up back in the Van in mortal world. As soon as she arrived, Nikhil asked her, Where? and she replied, Hospital. Rohit start the Van again and drive to the Hospital and said, Okay Hospital, It's not far. only 800 meters, thats it. We are coming you Evil One, we are coming for you.
