Another Update.

There are a lot of cliffhangers

EVELYN'S POV

I saw a small model of the castle in destroyed state and blueprints of it right in front of me. I guess they are expecting the castle to look like that model. But that wasn't how I imagined the castle would look like. Curiosity got the best out of me and I opened the blueprint. I took pics of it. The castle looked oddly familiar and not from my nightmare.

I searched for something that could have any connection with the castle but no such luck. I went back to the door and waited till someone got caught. When Max found Luke, I slowly came out and moved from that place.

We played a couple of times and got exhausted. I was supposed to go home after the party but it got delayed so everyone decided to crash here for the rest of the night. My parents would be home by now, but they didn't call me. I called them few hours ago but it was out of reach. I guess they are on their way.

Everyone slept except me. All I could think about was why my parents about being out of town.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

I rushed to the reception as soon as I parked the car, "I am here for Chris and Martha Jacobs." The receptionist looked at his ledger.

"They are in the emergency ward. Second floor."

When I went up to the floor, Police were waiting and at the same time a doctor came out and called out,

"People here for the Jacobs"

I went up to the doctor.

"You are?"

"I am Cole Damon. They were here in Manchester to visit me."

"I am Dr.Wells. Their immediate family isn't here?"

"No Doctor, not at the moment. Anything serious?"

"Mrs. Jacobs is alright. She is just experiencing the trauma. She will be fine in no time. But still I have prescribed her medicines. But Mr. Jacobs has injured his right leg. It is serious. Open tibia shaft fracture. Not only his leg is fractured but it caused damages to the tendons and ligaments as well. It will take a long time to heal. He should be in total bed rest for at least a month. But no treat to anyone's life. You can meet Mrs. Jacobs when she is conscious."

I didn't know I was holding my breath till now.

"I need you to sign few papers, Mr. Damon"

I nodded. I couldn't speak.

As the Doctor left, the Police came up to me.

"I am Officer Allen. I assume I spoke with you in the phone at the accident spot."

"Yes, I am Cole Damon."

He came directly to the point.

"It was drunk and drive and was entirely the other driver's fault. We took him under custody. We still want the victims' statement. We will come back tomorrow to get it when they are stable. Let them know."

"Thank you officer. I will let them know."

The Police left after that. Few minutes later the Doctor gave me few papers to sign and the medicine prescriptions.

I didn't call Evelyn. I don't think I should be the one telling her this. I was waiting outside and that's all I could do now.

EVELYN'S POV

I got up around 10 and still I was the first one to wake up. I took some cereal and sat on the couch, watching SpongeBob square pants. No one is too old for that. By 11 everyone woke up and they were busy having their breakfast.
