The Birthday Party

Finally another chapter. Again sorry.

 Not edited. There are a lot of POV switches. This is the longest chapter I have ever written till now and it is kinda a filler chapter or you can say a precursor for the next one. So enjoy and please vote.

EVELYN'S POV

Today is Harry's birthday. It has been three days since the phone encounter. We all leave for our apartment near university next week. The classes start the week after that. Also my parents are returning from where ever they were. I have planned to confront them about the postcards and the newspapers.

Harry's surprise birthday party is at 6pm. Luke is still at my house and since I have opened a 'Holiday Express Inn' as Luke calls it, Alex and Jude also decided to crash for the night. Now we all are wide awake so that we can wish Harry. We have planned everything for the party, invited everyone but the lie we are going to tell Harry to convince him is going to be lame. And we girls are not aware of it cause 'secret'. It is entirely the guy's idea.

At 12 we called Harry and wished him. He told us about the reservations he made at Maze Grill for lunch at 1pm. By the way he is the richest in our gang. We planned on car pooling and it was two hour ride to London. It was around 1am when we slept.

We had got up around 9 and directly went to get ready cause we got orders from Harry, not to even spell the word 'breakfast'. We all dressed up like we were going for fashion week fundraiser but irony was that we were the ones who needed the fund.

I wore a classic staples red dress which stopped at my knees which had a bow on the waist and black pumps to go along with it. Alex wore a high and low blue sleeveless dress which becomes darker and darker towards the base and she wore flats. While Luke and Jude wore tux.

It was around 10.45 when Max pulled up in my driveway.

Kate wore a maxi hot pink dress and Sofi wore an orange bubble dress. We all girls looked really stunning. All the guys wore tux.

"Woah..... my car is on fire due to you ladies" Max exclaimed while we pulled away from the driveway.

"Eyes on the road, Max" Luke and Jude said at the same time.

"Hahaha, You two are so smitten" Harry said from passenger seat.

"Happy 18th birthday little Ryder" I wished him.

"Thank you so much, Eve but I am no longer little. Your wishes mean a lot to me. And where is my gift?"

"I can feel how much I mean to you now."

"No one got me gifts?" Harry whined.

"Are you sure you turned 18? Or 8?" Kate joked.

Sofi took out a birthday boy crown and made Harry wear it all through lunch. The lunch was extraordinary and we talked about Harry's embarrassing childhood stories all way back home. It was around 3pm when we reached home. Max made a group in whatsapp excluding Harry.

Around 4.45pm it was time to execute the plan. Max messaged that he invited Harry over to his house. It was the cue for the rest of the guys to go to Max's house. The plan we know till now is that the guys are going to spend some time together which means they are going to play video games till 5.45pm, the rest is unknown but it is definitely going to be insane.

The rest of the girls came to my house and we waited for Max to give us further instruction. The message we received paralyzed us.

"Go to the house beside Harry's, that's the Montgomery's residence, Get them to call Harry, or you guys call him from their number, informing there is fire service outside his house since there was a complaint about gas leak. Harry won't suspect us. I am counting on you girls."
