The Forgotten Nightmare

Okay so I am sorry. I said I will be updating 3 days once but I was busy with my holiday home works and my school started. Today was the first day back.But I will try my best in updating.
So here is the new chapter.

Evelyn's POV
I am standing right in front of the house at Manchester. College starts next week and I could feel all the others being excited about it. Why something has to happen like this to me. Any square in any direction I move, it ends up in checkmate.
I saw Sophie's car pulling up.
Our parents were greeting each other when Luke came from the house and helped me with my baggages.
The house is pretty big. It is situated in a fine neighbourhood. The college is within walkable distance. The house has a big living room, kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 1 guestroom along with attic and basement. It is fully furnished.
Luke and Harry decided to share one bedroom while Max and Jude the other. I was supposed to share one with Alex but since I wanted to put 'that' behind me, I decided to stay with Catherine and Alex was not cool about it.

After setting up things in the room and after all our parents gave us advice and all that jazz, we decided to go out and get to know some places.
Day after tomorrow, the management called all the students to get rolled in and to get the books so I will be entering my hell hole soon.
We had dinner in the near by dine in and decided to call it a day.

The next day, all we did was help unpack the guy's stuffs and the rest of the day went by like a blur.

Max was the first one to wake up and the least he could have done was let others sleep but no, since we were in college it was sort of a college ritual to play stereo every morning. I have no idea how Jude is tolerating him.
We woke up due to his so called stereo and kate helped me with preparing breakfast.
After breakfast we all left to the college. Did I mention that Max drove his SUV here? In fact all the 4 guys brought their cars and now we have no place to park the car.
Max parked the car and we all got out. We were standing in front of the university. Just looking at it is giving me chills.

We all got our books and all of us got enrolled in different clubs. Once we got our ID's, Jude exclaimed. "We are official college students".

We were on the way to leave when I saw a door closed, it was in the far off end. It was huge, kinda looked like the one in the postcard. What am I thinking, all the door looks the same. I immediately looked away. I guess Alex noticed it too cause she was staring at me and back at the door, again I looked away.
I can't deal with it anymore.

I don't know what was in my mind, I didn't see the concrete slab in front of me and I tripped over and the next seconds were blur. The guys helped me up... my left hand was numb... there was blood on concrete.... I was crying....

The guys took me to the sick room which was just round the corner.
The nurse, Mrs Hastings saw my bleeding arm and starting cleaning it. "Oh dear, that's nasty. What happened?" She asked me.
I was still crying and didn't answer. Luke was trying to sooth me, but nothing worked. I have never seen so much blood.
"She tripped over the concrete slab near the book store." Max answered for me. Mrs. Hastings covered my wound and prescribed some painkillers. My left hand was burning like hell.
Mrs Hastings said my hand should be fine in two days.
And don't judge me, even you would cry looking at the amount of blood.
We stopped by the pharmacy to get the tablets. Then we were just goofing around for a while and had early dinner around 6.30. Since the tablets were of heavy dosage, I felt drunk. So I decided to call it a day.

I woke up as a cool breeze hit me. I sighed and looked around. The curtains were open. The sun was up. A muscular arm wrapped around my waist. When I turned around, I saw beautiful hazel brown orbs looking at me.
"Huh.. the princess is awake."
I smiled at him.
"Don't you have your duty to do? Say, protect the kingdom, General?"
He chuckled. "I am on my duty, I am protecting the princess of the kingdom."
"Well then General, could you remove your arm, so I could get up?"
He smiled and pulled me into a kiss.
"You should leave, Cole." I said in a serious tone.

I woke as a cool breeze hit me. All the curtains were closed though. I remember dreaming about kissing someone, the face was blur but I felt love and passion and I presume that someone to be Luke. Who else could it be. But the setting was different, like he was my knight in shining armor. I was smiling like crazy when,
7 pairs of eyes were looking at me.
"What?"
"You screamed" Max screamed now.
"I had a bad dream." I said in a low voice.
"We thought there was someone in the house or something happened to you." Luke whispered worriedly.
"Who could possibly come in in this evening and when you all there?"
I can't tell them that I was dreaming about Luke.
Everyone left except Alex
"Are you sure, you okay?" Alex asked.
"Yes, I am" I was a bit annoyed.
"Did you have the same nightmare?"
"No, I didn't. And please I don't want to talk anything more." Alex started to talk but I cut her off. "Please. It was not the same one. It was nothing."
Alex hesitated but left.
And that left me thinking. Wasn't I supposed to get a nightmare and not lovely dovey one.
What am I thinking. I don't care. I don't care about the nightmare, the castle or anything. I really need to get myself together.

Cole's POV

It has been nearly 10 days since I dropped Mr and Mrs Jacobs home. When their daughter asked me my name, I knew if I would have said my first or last name, something worse could have happened, so I said her my middle name.
After a small shopping and dinner date with Natasha, I went home, changed to pjs and slept.

I felt her moving. I wrapped my arms around her waist. When she turned around, I could not help but stare at her beautiful green eyes. "Huh... the princess is awake." She flashed her beautiful smile.
"Don't you have your duty to do? Say, protect the kingdom, General?" She asked.
I chuckled and replied, "I am on my duty, I am protecting the princess of the kingdom."
"Well then General, could you remove your arm, so I could get up?"
I couldn't resist her lips. I smiled and pulled her into a kiss.
"You should leave, Cole." She said in a serious tone.

Just as I got up from the bed, the guardsmen marched in along with the king and the guards. They pulled me out from the room. I tried with all my strength to fight them but I couldn't do anything. I felt something strong hit my head. I felt so weak. My strength was betraying me. I could hear Evelyn cry out my name.

"Evelyn..." I screamed and woke up, sweating like pig.
"Evelyn?".... I froze as I heard the voice.
"Hey Nat.. What are you doing here? At this time?"
"I wanted to surprise you. It's your birthday. And why are you thinking about Evelyn?"
I got out of my bed.
"I told you right, since the day her parents met with an accident, I keep thinking what if something worse had happened. What will she do?"
She looked unsure about what I said but I guess she was convinced as she did not ask anymore question.
We cut the cake and celebrated. Later we watched avengers. Natasha fell asleep half way through the movie.
I couldn't help but think about this dream I had. This is the second time I am getting a dream with the same girl.
At first I dreamt about a girl running through a maze crying for help and finally drowning in blood. And the worst part I am witnessing this and couldn't do anything about it.
I have had this dream many a times. I didn't know who was the girl until I met Evelyn.
And today I had a dream where I am kissing Evelyn. And what's with guards beating me up. What is happening? This is what Mr and Mrs Jacob meant by 'stay away from my daughter'?
I really need to get myself together.

I didn't realise I felt asleep in my couch until Natasha woke me up for coffee.
"Hey birthday boy, go get ready we are going out somewhere special."
I kissed her and left to my room. I couldn't help but think about the dream where I kissed Evelyn. My thoughts were interrupted when my phone buzzed. My eyes widened at the name that was displaying on my phone.

Again I am sorry. I totally changed the chapter twice. I hope you like it. And any typing or spelling mistakes, I blame autocorrect. As promised, this is the longest chapter till date.
