CHAPTER 14: Baratie, Part-4: Gin

Shoya POV

"Well then, here goes!" I said to Pearl.

I made myself fall towards Pearl, and then yelled, "Gravity: Heavy Fist!" I landed a hit on Pearl's shield. But as soon as i did, I realized that the shield was made of Sea Prism stone. I had to get away from Pearl before he hit me with his shield.

"Aw, man...Sea prism stone, huh" I said.

"Hahahaha! Yes, brat! It's Sea prism stone, the weakness of all devil fruit users. And sine u got affected by it, i guess you are one." Pearl said.

"Haah. Now I know why you usually win. You got no real power, the work is all done by your shields." I said.

"We're pirates, kid. There's nothing that goes by the name of 'cheating' in our world" Pearl said

"You just wanted to say that, didn't you? I never said you're cheating. I simply made the point that you're no big deal." I replied.

"Why you...take this!" Pearl yelled, running towards me with his shields in front. I thought about what I could do to beat him.

He kept coming at me, and I just tried dodged every time.

"Hey, stop running! Come at me, will you!" Pearl shouted, and then grinned evilly.

But every time I touched him, any modifications in weight I made to my body would be nullified, even if I went pretty fast.

But it wasn't just that. Pearl knew that there would be a minimum time requirement for the sea prism stone to work, and he would slowly walk backwards whenever he got hit, to decrease my momentum. And no matter how fat and heavy he seemed with those shields, he was pretty agile, unexpectedly.

Then I realized it. A minimum time requirement, Agility! I just needed to cancel those factors out, and I would win!

I just dodged all his attacks, and tried to get a hit on a part where he didn't have his shield.
It was my requirement for my powers to work on someone else, and it only worked for about 10 mins. After 10 mins, I had to recharge it by touching the person again. And on things it usually worked, but this was sea prism stone, after all.

He had helmets, knee guards, elbow guards, shin guards, shields on his front and back. The only part I found open to attack was a little below the armpit area. It wasn't that easy, but not tough. I was able to touch him.

"Now it's my time!" I yelled, making him fall towards the sky at high speed.

Then I decreased the weight of my body and made myself so light I could travel at a very high speed. My body glowed green cuz of my gravity powers. I fell towards him, and just before the moment of impact, I made my fist weigh about probably at least a 100 kg.

The high momentum had such a large force that the impact couldn't possibly be handled by his shields, or his body. He flew towards the sky, his shield and definitely many of his bones shattered too.

My idea had been very simple: just don't give the sea prism stone the time to take affect me.

I burst towards the ground, the green glow surrounding me, and slowed down my speed just before hitting the ground. When I landed on the ground, I looked around: Luffy-niisan was still fighting Don Krieg, but he seemed really hurt. He was bleeding all over. Usopp-niisan, Nami-neesan and Yosaku and Johnny were all in a boat, in which Zoro-niisan was lying...dead?

"Zoro-niisan!" I yelled. Usopp-niisan turned towards me and did a thumbs-up, meaning Zoro-niisan was still alive, although I could see blood from even a distance which worried me. I was definitely relieved he didn't die, though.

I looked around, and saw Sanji-niisan seemed almost dead, with Gin walking towards him, spinning some kind of baton. What the heck even happened?!

Narrator POV

Flashback
(to when Shoya had just begun fighting Pearl)

Sanji was fighting pirates, taking on multiple at once. "Oi, Mr. Sanji! Come here, I'm your opponent!"

"Gin! I'm coming to beat your ass, you just wait right there!" Sanji yelled, kicking pirates who were attacking him out of his way, and running towards Gin.

A/N: After this well the fight is the same as the anime, which resulted in Gin beating Sanji up. I'm just taking a break in between, imma skip the actual fight parts and move right on.

"Mr. Sanji! Get up and fight!" Gin exclaimed with an evil grin on his face. "Hmm..I guess you can't just get up like that. You are going to need some motivation. Oh, I got it!"

BLAM!

Gin shot Owner Zeff, right at the heart. "Now you will get up, won't you? Or is your love for this old guy really as less as it seems?"

"Rrraaahhhhh!! Gin....YOU..ARE..DEAD!" Sanji yelled, getting up. "You guys! Take the old geezer inside!" Then he ran towards Gin and started fighting him, anger having taken control over him.
He was able to hit Gin with powerful kicks, but his bones were broken so he couldn't bear the weight his own kicks put on his body, and fell over.

Gin now came over spinning his T-baton with iron spheres attached to either end, and landed on top of Sanji, ready to hit him.

"I can't do it, Don Krieg! I just can't kill this man!"

Flashback ended

A/N: After this, Gin protests to not kill Sanji and leave Baratie alone. Don Krieg, disappointed in him, decides to use a deadly gas : MH5. Same stuff as anime, Gin without mask, everyone else safe from it.

Shoya POV

Sanji-niisan yelled, tears in his eyes..."Gin...don't die! Patty, don't you have some antidote?"
"Yes, but that's for food poi-"
"I don't care! Bring it over!"

Owner Zeff shouted, "You fools, have him wear a mask, it must contain some sort of antidote! And take him to the second floor, it should have more fresh air than down here!"

"Old Man!" Sanji-niisan yelled, "Don't move yet, stupid!"

"I'm fine, Sanji. It was just a bullet, I've had many pierce me till now. And who you calling stupid huh? I'm much older than you, talk to me with respect, you idiot! Also, that guy...he probably missed my heart on choice." Owner Zeff said, smiling faintly.

"Gin..." said Sanji-niisan, tears in his eyes.

"Ahahahaha, feeling sorry for that useless sack of crap?" Don Krieg yelled. That instantly angered both Sanji-niisan and Luffy-niisan.

"DON...KRIEG!!!" Luffy-niisan yelled, running towards Don Krieg.
