Not long ago, I was going through a lot. I was broken and depressed and I thought I would never be happy again. But look at me now! Aye God good enuh!?
Euphoria.
That's the only word I can think of which perfectly describes the emotional state I've been in since yesterday.
First, my CSEC results...
I feel like just saying I'm grateful and relieved isn't even sufficient to truly express how I feel. Mi nuh stop bawl and thank God.
Then the kisses Jevon and I shared...
Wow. Just wow. That man is a man in every sense of the word. No weak jelly back at all! I admire literally everything about him, physically and personality wise. The fact that he has helped and supported me so much when I was down on my face means the world to me. And he still supports me in every way I need him to, without me having to ask. I will always appreciate and respect him deeply.
The way he kissed me was so passionate. I've never experienced anything like that before. I just hope we can eventually become closer.
My phone rang, and lo and behold... it's him. I took the opportunity to glance at the time before answering.
5:49 am.
"Hello?"
"Yuh up early princess."
I could tell that he was smiling by the sound of his voice, and that made me smile too.
"Nuh really. I'm still in bed."
"Me too. I barely slept last night."
"Why?"
He was quiet for a few seconds.
"Did a think bout yuh. Literally di whole night."
"Wow. Same honestly." I admitted.
Again, he was quiet.
"Krissann, I want to take you on a date. I really want us to sit down and have deep conversation and enjoy each other's company differently. I know you don't have work today and I can easily clear my schedule for you. Please don't say no."
I wasn't really expecting him to ask me out but I'm glad he did.
"Okay. That would be great."
He sighed... a sigh of relief. Was he nervous?
"Alright. Mi a come pick yuh up 'bout 3:00. Is that okay?"
"Yeah. Where are we going? I need to know so I can dress appropriately."
"Mi nah tell yuh, but dress formally and yuh can bring flat shoes because we'll be out for couple hours well."
"Ok sir. See you then."
"Yeah, later."
Mi need fi call Kelly right now!

Yes, I'm taking her on a date. Why? Because mi really like har an from wi kiss, I can't seem to stop thinking about her. We only live once suh mi a tek di chance yaa man. The worst that can happen is things don't work out for us romantically but because of how we met, she'll always be special to me.
