𖡼.𖤣𖥧𖡼.𖤣𖥧AFTER THE PHONE CALL with Nick, Lina spent the entirety of Saturday in bed binge-watching Rick and Morty and trying to figure out what the hell she was supposed to do the next time she saw Matt. She had tried to focus on the episode playing on her laptop, but all day, she found herself glancing at her phone to see if he had texted her. Obviously, he hadn't, but she wondered if he was thinking about the situation, too. Though, since it was Matt, he probably — no, definitely — had not.
Now it was Sunday, and she was sick of rotting in her apartment, wondering what to do with herself, so she decided to go out in an attempt to clear her head. She pulled on a random pair of denim shorts and a tank top she had found on her bedroom floor, before slinging her long hair up in a ponytail. Lina sighed as she spared a quick glance at her appearance in the mirror, hoping she wouldn't run into anyone she knew while she was out — which was practically impossible, considering everyone and their mother seemed to live on her street, let alone in the whole neighborhood.
