Alone with a Secret Curse (Based of My babysitters a vampire)

Where Is He?

I turn the shower off and throw a towel at Ethan so he can dry himself. I give myself a quick dry and grab some fresh clothes out of my wardrobe to put on. Ethan grabs his pants and puts them off, but his shirt is still in the other room.
"You okay?" He asks me as I sit on my bed
"Yeah... Are you?" I respond and then he comes and sits next to me.
"I'm more than okay" he says with a cheeky grin on his face.
"Not that didn't enjoy that, because really really did, but I told you before I can't have a relationship with anyone until I find a cure for my curse"
"Oh... yeah... I know, but"
"No but Ethan. We can't be together as you will grow up, get a job, get married and have kids and until I find a cure I'm going to be eighteen forever"
"So we are friends?"
"We can't really be friends either because I don't want anything to happen to you with Jesse or anything. How about we are sort of friends, but because I'm your babysitter nothing else!"
"Yeah... right... good idea"
Ethan's face has dropped and he looks so sad and almost lost. I feel awful and I feel like a bitch, but I can't have a relationship and I don't want Jesse to find out and harm him or his family and friends. So although he may be sad now I'm actually doing this to keep him safe...

The Next Day

Right early morning start for work today. I head into the shower which just brings out so many memories from yesterday with Ethan. I can't get him out of my head AGAIN... I just need to make enough money and then I can leave this town and forget all about him and he can forget about me.

"Morning Sarah" David says to me as I walk into the cafe
"Hey" I say back
"Are you alright Sarah? You seem quieter than usual"
"Yeah I'm fine"
"No somethings wrong. What's up?"
"I'm fine seriously David, just leave it"
"Leave her alone David. She doesn't like to talk to anyone" Julia says sarcastically
"Fine! Just whatever is wrong Sarah don't take it out on the customers!" David snaps at me
I just roll my eyes and put on my apron. Let's put on some fake smiles and give out shit coffee because that's my job.
David and Julia go into the stockroom 100% going to flirt with each other and probably do something more... As long as it doesn't get on any of the food I couldn't care less.
I start cleaning the counter and arranging the cookies with have at the front and  hear the door open and when I turned around I just knew it wasn't right...
I know that he is a vampire  and Jesse has sent him! I turn around and hiss at them showing my fangs and they do the same to me!
"Who are you?" I hiss
"I'm looking for Jesse as we know he came to find you, but it's been awhile since anyone's heard from him or Gord or Vince. Where are they fledging?"
"I don't know? I haven't seen them!"
"You are a little liar! Jesse came for you and now he is missing!"
"Well obviously Jesse never found me because I haven't seen him!"
"Come on little fledging you can't lie to me! Tell me what you've done to him or I will hurt you"
"I DO NOT KNOW!" I shout
"Alright well I guess I will stay with you all day everyday until you know"
"No you won't! I haven't seen Jesse or his little friends, so I don't know what you want me to do?"
"I want you to tell me the truth about it. I know Jesse found you as he mentioned your apartment and some little dork who was watching a film with you"
"Well I haven't seen Jesse and I haven't been with any dork"
"I can see in your eyes Sarah, you are scared! You were with someone weren't you... cheating isn't a good look for you!"
"I wasn't with anyone AND I'm not cheating as I broke up with Jesse when I realised what a dick he is!"
"Well Sarah I have an offer! Either tell me where Jesse, Gord and Vince are or loose your little dork boyfriend?"

He can't touch Ethan! I can't have him go anywhere near Ethan! I need to quickly bluff something...
"FINE! I killed Gord and Vince and Jesse... Jesse... Jesse went away" I say
"So on your own you killed two vampires and Jesse just ran away?" He says getting closer to me
"Yes! Do you not think I'm capable of killing someone like you?"
"Not on your own! Three professional vampires against one little fledgling... You wouldn't of won. Was your little boyfriend with you?"
"Nobody was with me and he is not my boyfriend I just babysit him and his sister"
"Babysit... HA HA HA! He needs a babysitter! That's pathetic"
"Ive given you my information, so you can leave now!"
"Fine! Some how you killed two vampires on your own, but Jesse running away is a stupid lie!"
"I've told you everything!"
This vampire grabs my arms and pushes me into a table
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" A woman's voice shouts behind this vampire.
I look past him and I see it's that Dusk girl Erica.
"Well well well... Aren't you sweet?" This vampire says as he gets closer to her.
"Don't touch her!" I snap at him.
"Stay away from me and her or I'm calling the police" Erica says as strongly as she can
"What's your name princess?" He asks her
"I mean it! I will call for help! I saw you pushing her and hurting her" Erica says to him, still trying to stand strong, but you can see she is scared
"Erica it's alright. Just please leave" I say to her trying to sound as calmly as I can.
"Erica ey? That's a pretty name. Well my name is Drake" he says as he goes behind her.
I quickly run over and grab Erica's arm and pull her away from him.
"Well then Drake, you can leave now" I say to him holding tight onto Erica.
"Oh no no no Sarah! I want to get to know this Erica" Drake says.
He moves his hands and uses his power to put Erica in a trance.
"NO!" I shout!
Erica sits down and is completely out of it.
"Erica! Erica can you hear me?" I say to her, but she does not respond.
"Tell me where Jesse is or unfortunately you will have to say goodbye to Erica" Drake says
"I honestly don't know? He went back to where he came from or something"
"He wouldn't just vanish. Did you kill him?"
"No I didn't! I'm not like you heartless killers!"
"Tut tut Sarah. He wouldn't just vanish, so who helped you vanish him? You can't do glamouring and you can't do any magic, so who was with you?"
"Nobody was with me! I swear! He just went! I don't know what happened, just leave me alone and leave Erica alone!"
"I told you not to lie little fledgling! Now you are going to pay for it"
Drake throws me so far that I crash into all the coffee machines and smash all the glass. That really really f**king hurt! I get up as quick as I can, but as soon as I stand up Drake already has hold of Erica and is putting his fangs by Erica's neck.
"NO! DON'T!" I shout
"Too late Sarah" Drake laughs as he turns Erica around and shows me he has already bitten her neck.
"YOU ABSOLUTE BASTARD!" I shout as I run towards him and kick him right out the window. Drake goes smashing through the window and quickly flies off.
