I wake up to the amazing smell of bacon coming from the kitchen and started screaming "BACON!!!!!"
I run down the long hallway, downstairs into the lounge room/ dining room to see dad standing over the oven cooking bacon, mum is on the couch watching the news and josh is at the table on his laptop playing.....gross, Mine craft with his friends online.
I go over to the couch and sit down next to mum. As I'm watching the news, I see that a girl my age and to my description has gone missing.
"If anybody has any information of the whereabouts of Jessica smith, please contact police immediately" says the lady on tv.
"Mum" I ask. "What the hell was that?"
No response.
"Mum?!?!" I repeat.
Again. No response.
"BREAKFAST!" Dad calls out.
Mum gets up and heads to the table and josh puts the laptop away and sits back down.
I go over and sit in my usual place at the table and await breakfast.
"One for you"dad says, placing a plate of bacon and eggs in front of josh.
"One for you" he repeats placing a plate I front of mum also.
Great. My turn. I thought in my head.
"And one for me" dad says.
"I hope they find that girl that went missing" mum says. "I feel so bad for her family".
Ok now what the hell is going on. My parents are acting like I'm not there. I have been reported missing and nobody is talking to me.
I start to worry. Then I remember the nurse and doctor and what they did to me.
"They injected me with some sort of chemical. Maybe this part of the effects it gives." I say to myself.
"Very good Jessica" a male voice replies in the distance.
Then emerges the doctor from the darkness below the staircase.
"Your a smart girl you are" he says in his low pitched voice.
"Why r u doing this to me?" I ask scared for my life.
"Doing what, my dear?" He replied calmly.
"All of this" I say, gesturing to my surroundings.
"We are testing people. Orders from the government" he blurts out. "Now, come with me".
As we walk down the long, dark corridor, his hand grasping my arm tightly to make sure I don't try to escape, we pass the room with the two children I saw earlier in it.
"What do you need children like them for?" I ask.
No response.
As we eventually come to a halt, we enter a room full of pills, needles and sharp objects.
The doctor sits me down forcefully into one of the many chairs and straps me in.
"This will only take a couple of minutes" he said in a soft voice. " I don't mind if u watch or not"
Curious, I decide to watch, not knowing what he is about to do.
As I'm watching, I see two nurses bring in......the two children from before. I don't know if I should say anything, so I stay quiet.
The next thing I see was just.......
