rewrite of "everything i wanted"
part 1 - it's time to go
that old familiar body ache
the snaps from the same little breaks
in your soul , you know
when it's time to go
part 2 - the great war
always remember
tears on the letters
i vowed not to cry...

"TONIGHT WAS JUST lovely," leah and spencer walked into the hotel lobby, the other agents speeding up in front of them. most of them were exhausted and practically ran to their rooms to get some sleep. rightfully so, the night was very long and very tiring.
"couldn't agree more," spencer smiled and looked over to her. "wanna grab coffee tomorrow morning?"
"of course, thank you again for a great night."
"anytime."
they had reached the door of leah's hotel room by then, and she watched spencer walk over to his room and enter it. emily came walking down the hall with morgan. both were surprisingly sober by the end of the night, only having a few shots throughout the night. she said goodnight to morgan as he unlocked his hotel room, and then emily walked over to leah.
"ready for our super awesome sleepover?" emily smiled as she took out her keycard.
"stoked!"
the two walked into the now unlocked room and threw their purses down on the bed. they discussed that leah would quickly shower and get ready for bed first while emily waited, so that's what leah did. after about 15 minutes, leah came out of the bathroom wearing a pair of plaid black shorts with a black tank top. emily was next up, and 20 minutes later she came out wearing an oversized t shirt that read "fbi" and blue shorts with little yellow stars on them. leah thought she looked beautiful.
the two talked for a bit and then laid down, trying to sleep. however, 5 minutes of tossing and turning later, emily shot up.
"i'm going to be honest," she said. "i'm really not tired at all. i could've stayed out for a few more hours. i can tell you're not tired too. do you want to just put on a movie and stay up?"
leah shot up, smiling. "absolutely."
the two settled with the movie "rent" after scrolling through the available movies for a good 10 minutes. before starting it, they ran down to the vending machine of the hotel room and bought as many snacks as they could. it was truly a teenage girl sleepover.
