Chapter 13
We just pulled up the house and it is gorgeous. We walk in and one of the girls tackles me down to the ground. The other two hold a gun to my head, I just smile. I spin the girl on top of me around so she is under me, and I grab her head into a headlock. IF she moves it'll snap. "Girls, I don't want to hurt you. Can we put the weapons away and just have a civilized conversation," I ask. They nod, and we proceed to the living room. "Why should we trust you," the blue-haired one asks. I reply, "I don't know. Why should you trust me? I could have killed Mrs. Stanley for all you know." The mixed girl raises her gun to my head, "We should kill you. You probably did kill her, that innocent woman. She was going to get married soon. She was finally going to have the life she wanted," she says with sympathy and rage in her voice. I smile, "You're stupid. How would I have gotten into her secret facility without the password. She is harder to crack than flipping concrete. I know that she is part of the Organization; she can't ever leave. She was using kids to form a small army. Of course, half of the kids were telling the Organization to get in goo kahoots. It won't work, her plan that is. I have something far better planned. You should trust me, Mrs. Stanley loves me like a daughter. If you didn't trust me, you would've shot me a long time ago." They all visibly relax and then we get started on introductions. The blue-haired girl speaks first, "My name is Harmonique Currier, but most people call me Harmony or Curry. I love curry, it's probably my favorite food outside of burgers and sweet potato fries." I chuckle at the last part, the mixed girl rolls her eyes, "I'm Alyssa Morroe. Most people call me Aly. The organization killed my parents and I only joined to get revenge," she says to me. I nod and the black girl speaks up, "I'm Ravenna Quirrel. People call me Ven, you'll probably think of something else to call me. My favorite color is purple and we have another friend." I smile, and I was about to introduce myself, but the door flew open. Some girl walked in with a gun in her hand and I instantly jumped over the sofa to attack her. I got on top of her and the girls pulled me off. Aly says, "Omg. That is the friend we were talking about." "Oh," I respond stupidly. The girls stands up and wipes the imaginary dust from her body, "My name is Janique Washington. My godmother, Daija, named me. That is why my name is blackish. I am of Irish and Scottish descent." I just nod my head, "I guess it's my turn then. My name is Charlie Winslow. My parents are currently being framed for something I believe they didn't do." They all nod, "You seem good at what you do, but you can't beat the best of us," says Janique. I laugh, hard too, "You don't know me," I say. She chuckles, "And you don't know us," she counters. I stand up, "It will only be fair to do one on one, right? Line up in order of the best at combat. First to tap out loses," I suggest. They agree and we push the sofas to the far walls. Harmony comes up to me first, "I'm more of a sniper," she says. We circle each other two times before she jabs in the direction of my face. I duck and sweep her legs from under her. She quickly rolls over, but before she can get back up, I hop on her. She tumbles down, leaving her arms sandwiched between the hardwood and her body. She screeches in pain, I can feel her shoulder blades slipping. She bangs her head against the floor 3 times and I hop off her. I look up and Aly and Ravenna are dying of laughter. They are clutching their stomach trying to catch their breaths. Janique has a look of terror on her face, I'm assuming she is next. She walks up to me and instantly punches me in the face. She quickly knees me in the face as well. I fall back, but roll backwards as well. She jumps to get on me, but I kick my leg up quickly. She falls back a few inches and stands back up. Her face is of focus, but her eyes are deceiving her. She is continuously looking at my right side. She makes a move to go to my side, and I quickly kick her in the head. She falls down and I grab her arm and put my legs on either side of the arm. I start pulling and she starts screaming. Of course she's screaming, I'm pulling it out of the socket. She quickly taps the floor and I realease. Ravenna and Aly both have looks of seriousness on their faces. "Which one of you is next," I ask. They look at each other and Aly walks up to me, "I've lost two fights in my entire life. Ravenna has never lost a fight, in fact, she was going to fight Stacy the other day, but some crazy chick beat Stacy to death almost," she says. I decide to leave out the fact that the "crazy chick" is in fact me. I just stand and wait for her to make a move. She walks over to me and kicks me in the head. I instantly hit the ground, I did not expect that at all. She hops onto me and starts strangling me. I reach up and jab her in the eye. She falls back and I take this opportunity to punch her in the head twice. She bangs her foot into my stomach and all the air in my lungs dissipates. She rolls me onto the ground and bangs my head into the floor multiple times. I take my legs and wrap them around the front of her body. I push her off and she rolls back. I kick her dead in the temple and she falls out cold. Ravenna chuckles, "I see, you weren't going to get her to tap out." I nod and we both stand up and stand in front of each other. I look at her and get ready to take her down. She lunges at me and I quickly sidestep the attack. She must have been anticipating that because she quickly moved her foot to kick me in the face, I duck and kick up. My foot collides with her face, but not before she brings her foot back and it hits me in the back. We both stumble forward a little and I kind of chuckle. I easily slayed Stacy, she is better than Stacy. She walks closer to me and evaluates my damages, probably looking for a weak spot. I don't care what she's doing, I take three quick jabs to her face. Two collide into her eye and it instantly starts to bruise and the other breaks her nose. She groans in pain and wipes as much blood as she can from her face. She lunges forward, I expect a punch, but she kicks me. I hit the floor hard, my face hitting the floor. I feel the crunch of my nose breaking and the weight of a girl on my back. I try to get up, but she has me down well. She bangs her elbow into my back and I scream, this might be the first fight I've ever lost. Thinking about that gives me an instant boost of strength. I quickly push her off my back and spin around. My round house kick connects with her already broken nose. She falls down and I hop onto her stomach. I punch her several times on the side of her head. In a few punches she stops moving and I roll off her body. She is knocked out, and I wish I was too.
