Harry misses (Y/N) again.

The morning after his first night staying there, she made him this huge spread of breakfast and smiled through the whole thing. She told him she ate before he woke up and he wondered why briefly before she brought out the crepes. And then it just kind of slipped his mind.

She's lovely. Truly. The loveliest person he's ever met. And when she kissed him on the cheek, he almost went into cardiac arrest. He's sure she could hear his heart beating with how fast it was going. He could feel it in his hands.

They had breakfast in her ornate, overwhelmingly grand dining room. She sat in the chair right beside him and kept him entertained while he ate.

"I'm sorry for talking your ear off yesterday. I just love my plants and I'll babble on about them as long as someone is listening." She looked slightly embarrassed now and he hopes he didn't make her feel that way. He loved listening to her talk and be so expressive about something she clearly loves. He didn't mind it at all.

"Didn't bother me. Could listen to you talk forever." He could and he wanted to. Once again, she smiled shyly at him before avoiding his eyes.

But now, he's back to reality. Back at work. And he fucking hates being so far away from (Y/N). She did give him her phone number this time, so he's feeling a lot better now that they have some sort of line of communication between them, but nothing beats being in her presence.

Leaving her felt like he was dying. Really. She walked him down to his car and he hesitantly pressed a kiss to her cold cheek. He was surprised by the feel of it, but it didn't bother him. He just hurried to say goodbye and that he'd see her soon.

Now it's just a matter of deciding when to go back. If he had it his way, he'd be on his way back there as soon as four o'clock hit. But he doesn't want to see her too often and her get tired of him. That would break his heart. So, he settles with sending her a text message of his thoughts.

Harry: Not sure if I'm weird or not for saying this, but I miss you like crazy, (Y/N).

He waited maybe three seconds before getting a reply.

(Y/N): I guess we're both weird then :)

She just learned how to do the text message smiley faces. She learned that online too. She knows emojis exist, but actually typing out the smiley face means more to her. She hopes it means more to him too.

She's so relieved that he too most likely feels that achy feeling in his chest because of the fact that they're apart. She hasn't stopped feeling it since the first time he visited. Well, that's until he showed back up at her doorstep and asked to come in. Then, the feeling subsided, but as soon as he got into his car and drove off, it came back in full force, almost bringing her to her knees. She knows what it means, but she doesn't want to get her hopes up.

Harry: Can I see you tomorrow?

Why not today? She pouts to herself before messaging back.

(Y/N): Of course! You're welcome anytime.

That means that she definitely has to feed before he comes over. The terrifying urge to bite him only increases the more he comes around. She knows why, she just doesn't want to admit it to herself.

Harry: Thank you. See you then :)

She dropped her phone, putting both hands over her chest, and swooned. Already imagining how their time together is going to be. She can't wait. She's almost sick with excitement. But she will wait. She's been doing it her entire life so far just for this moment. And she's not going to do anything to mess it up.
