"Where is everybody?" Bhavesh asked for the n-th time, looking around for his fellow band-mates.

"They'll be here, you need to calm down", Nikhil answered, straightening his tie.

Bhavesh, Nikhil, Varun, Kritika and Karthik were standing on the terrace of the hotel, which was covered by a rooftop. The terrace was huge, and had a shiny floor. There were disco lights, and the hotel's staff was standing at one end, where there was a barbeque organised. All in all, it looked pretty posh. People had already started to enter the venue, and everybody looked excited and amazing in their outfits. The night's air buzzed with excitement.

"The smell of barbequed chicken is already making my tummy rumble", complained Bhavesh.

"Dude, cut it, and tell me if I look good", Nikhil said, tugging at Bhavesh, and readjusting his tie. He stared into Bhavesh's eyes for far too long, which made Bhavesh snap at Nikhil, "Dude, what the hell are you doing?"

"I need a mirror, man, and you're eyes are the best option", Nikhil explained. He swore under his breath. "I swear there's something wrong with this tie. It feels like it's constricting my throat."

"Here, let me correct it", said Bhavesh, sighing, and he got to work.

Varun snorted. "You guys look gay."

Bhavesh immediately stepped away from Nikhil, cleared his throat and said, "That's done."

"You just untied the knot I spend 20 minutes tying in the first place!" Nikhil glared at him.

Varun and Karthik laughed aloud, so did Bhavesh and Nikhil joined in later. Kritika however looked uninterested and she seemed on the edge. She fidgeted, and then, glancing at Karthik, placed her arm around Varun's saying, "Baby, is this totally necessary? My feet are hurting. Can we just go back to our room?"

"Why don't you go and sit over there", Varun pointed to a row of chairs near the railing of the terrace.

Kritika pouted and said, "Aren't you coming?"

"In a minute", Varun said, although he didn't want to join her. He was busy looking for Rhea.

"In a minute what?" asked the voice he was most familiar with and was dying to hear. He turned around to face Rhea, and his jaw dropped.

"Fuck", he swore under his breath, as he gazed at Rhea, from top to bottom.

Rhea, however, ignored him and focused on her date, who seemed just as astonished as Varun.

Karthik cleared his throat. "You- you look beautiful", he said, and Rhea blushed and muttered, "Thanks."

To say she looks beautiful would be an understatement, thought Varun. She looks beyond gorgeous tonight. Her hair was tied in an intricate yet loose bun, and a few strands of hair were left loose, and they were flowing with the breeze. She had put a little make up on, which was out of character for her, but she looked amazing, nevertheless. Varun prefered her without her makeup; that way, he got to appreciate her natural beauty.

Her eyes had been lined with delicate yet beautiful eye make up, which matched her long, turquoise dress. Her eyes were framed with thick eyelashes, and her lips curved into a smile. The dress she was wearing was sort of boat necked, it bared her shoulders and the sleeves fell to either sides of her shoulders. The neckline was a little plunging, and to cover it up, she was wearing an amazing studded necklace. The dress clung perfectly to her body, and emphasized her curves the right way.

She looks stunning, was all Varun could think as he struggled hard to get his eyes off her.

She however, struggled hard not to look at Varun. He looked so damn handsome. He was wearing a tux, and he seemed debonair and dapper. His hair was neatly styled, and he was wearing a little smirk. He seemed like the devil in disguise and that just raced her pulse even more. It might be just her hormones, but he looked so attractive.
