"Mom!" Kavya shouted at the top of her voice. "Tell bhaiyya to stop scaring all my guy friends from coming home!"
Rhea peered at her sixteen year old daughter through her reading glasses.
"Which one?" She joked, running one of her hands through Varun's hair, as he rested on her lap, and read the book she was reading.
"Laksh bhaiyya", she plopped down on one of the plush couches in their cozy living room. "And while you are at it, you can tell that to Aryan bhaiyya too. He also supports Laksh bhaiyya."
"Who supports Laksh?" Their eldest son, Nakul sat down on the bean bag and asked Kavya. "And why?"
"Apparently Aryan does, because Laksh does not approve of Kavya's guy friends and scares them from coming home", Rhea chuckled and Varun then removed her hand and sat next to her. He kissed her forehead and removed his own reading glasses. His eyes still managed to mesmerise her.
"Well Aryan is right", Nakul glared at his younger sister. "Boys are trouble."
"And what are you all? Girls?" Varun asked them and Rhea laughed.
"They are just too coward to admit that they play around with a girl's feelings", Rhea glared playfully at Varun and he smiled sheepishly at her.
Aryan and Laksh took that moment to run and sit down on one of the couches.
"Just like dad did to you?" Aryan asked, a mischievous glint in his eyes.
"Dad is still sorry about it bhaiyya", Kavya piped up.
"Ofcourse he is", Varun kissed Rhea's forehead again. "He should have confessed to her sooner." He took Rhea's hand in hers and kissed the back of her hand, and Rhea still managed to blush furiously, just like the first time.
"Awwww", cooed Kavya as Aryan, Laksh and Nakul looked away pointedly.
"Just as Nakul bhaiyya needs to confess to Tanya about his feelings", Laksh smirked at Nakul.
Rhea and Varun looked at each other with wide eyes and then at Nakul, who was shooting daggers at Laksh.
"Why you little-" Nakul began.
"Language", admonished Aryan, grinning widely at his mother, who glared at him and shushed him.
"You twins are a handful", Nakul shook his head in disdain, while looking at Laksh and Aryan.
"It's a wonder you guys don't look the same", Kavya rolled her eyes. "Otherwise you guys are just spawns of Satan."
Varun raised his eyebrow. "Does that mean I am Satan?" He grinned mischievously at Rhea. "You always wanted to date the Devil babe. Looks like your dream came true."
Now Rhea rolled her eyes. "I can't believe you are almost 50 years old, and still act like some teenage bad boy."
"But you still love me", he smiled widely at her and Rhea's heart warmed with emotion.
"How could I not? I am stuck with you for the rest of my life", she grinned back at him and he winked at her.
"You guys are so gooey", Aryan wrinkled his nose.
"In a good way", Laksh added thoughtfully.
Aryan stared at his fraternal twin brother in surprise. "In a good way? What are you frigging kidding me? We promised never to involve ourselves with any girl."
"I think you promised each other never to involve yourselves with only one girl", Kavya smirked cheekily, and Nakul laughed.
"Oh are you finding it funny now?" Aryan turned on his elder brother who shut up immediately. "Why don't you tell us more about Tanya?"
