Phil and I decided to go out with friends tonight which was a bit unorthodox for us. They were a few random friends who we met up with every so often and honestly they are a bit too rowdy for me.
They wanted to go to a pub--of course they did. Last time we hung out, we all ended up getting pissed.
I clung onto Phil's tall frame and noticed that he felt as tense and as uncomfortable as I did. "You alright, love?" I asked concerned. Phil tangled a lock of my curly hair around his finger seeming entranced by it, "what d'ya say we get out of here?" His blue eyes meeting my brown orbs. "Let's." I answered grabbing my phone and standing.
We walked to his flat which was around 3 blocks away from the pub.
"Are you cold?" He asked looking down at my small frame. "Hmm-no! I'm fine." I lied through chattering teeth, Phil chuckled stopping both of us. He took off his blazer and handed it to me taking my purse and insisting on carrying it.
We shared a beautifully comfortable silence on the walk home, occasionally laughing or exchanging quick glances at each other.
Soon enough we were back at his flat and I followed him up there stair and into the lounge. "Pizza?" He asked, "pizza." I agreed.
"Lion, what movie do you want to watch" I called to him as I had already set up Netflix on the television in his room. He smiled that gorgeous smile that I would trade anything in the world for him to keep that smile on his face. "Action?" He said with hopeful eyes, "pleeeeease Jo!" He pleaded knowing it was my least favourite genre of movie. "Alright, but I get to order the pizza." He smiled getting into his pyjamas and giving me his phone.
I ordered my favourite pizza and soon enough we were in bed with pizza and cuddles watching an action movie. Lots of cute fluff was shared and 'I love you's' we're exchanged.
Phil could make the worst night into the best. He could even make an action movie enjoyable.
Hope you liked it, little muffin.
