"Why are there more?" Asked Tom. "More? More of what?" Asked Tails. "More of us." Said Sonic. "Oh, yeah.. there are more.. that red echidna was Knuckles. The leader of the Echidnas. They are after the Master Emerald..." said Tails.
"The Master Emerald? That's just a bedtime story!" Said Sonic. Tom turned around in confusion. "Definitely not any bedtime story I've ever heard!" Replied Tom. "That's because it's a bedtime story from our planet." Said Tails.
"Oh." Realized Tom. "The owls protected it... called it a 'sacred emerald...' one that was really important and can make thoughts come reality. One of the owls told me to tell you... I think Selena was her name... and I came here." Explained Tails.
"Huh...." Said Sonic. Selena was a very kindhearted owl that was in Longclaw's clan. "Selena, huh?..." out of nowhere, a certain red echidna attacked....
