Dave moves just in time as the monster steps over him.
"You're still alive. Hmph. Seems I didn't kick you hard enough. No matter. You will still die."
The monster picks up a tree and throws it at him but is broken into pieces by the force of the incoming stones. Dave keeps running but never growing tired. Sheba motions to Sam and Jon to hurry up. The surviving demons follow Dave.
The monster soon grows tired and shouts, "There will be no other death but yours."
He stops and gets ready for a back hand slap. Dave jumps and cuts through the arm and lands on its back. The monster cradles its arm but can't see the little pest. Dave raises his sword and says, "Thou art no more."
He stabs the sword releasing a blast of light into the monster. The sky turns blinding bright, blinding the demons and some of the students. Sheba, Jon, and Sam cover their eyes just in time. The light soon fades away and Dave opens his eyes seeing the monster lying on the ground. He is standing on top of him. Dave jumps off and walks over to his face. He points his sword at it and says, "Thou art no way to fight. Get back up so I can finish what we started."
"You blind bat! You have paralyzed us. Finish us off if you dare Descendant of Dave. You'll never learn the truth."
"The truth? The truth of what?"
The monster closes its eyes. But Dave stabs his cheek, black blood seeping down onto the ground.
The monster roars and says, "Alright alright I'll. . .we'll tell you the truth. The prophecy is coming true. In the prophecy it says you will unleash terror into the demon's world. You will defeat some one powerful but we can't let that happen. Our mission is to stop your rising and we have failed, for now. Our generals will stop you and they are ten times stronger than us. Our army will avenge us. You are in for a whole lot of pain Dave. You should have just let us killed you for namesake!
"Now the demon lord will stop at nothing to kill you. Your friends will die, buildings will tremble, people will suffer because of your awakening, and the king will rise and destroy this planet and heaven. I can't wait to see that day. At last people will fear the most high, and that's our Lord and Savior."
Dave kneels down and hisses into the monster's ear.
"Do you think I'm afraid, demon?"
The demon laughs a cruel laugh. "You should be David. You should be. Your descendant will suffer the wrath of-"
Dave stabs the monster's back breaking its spine. The Stitch One gives out one more laugh before it disintegrates. Dave's drops his sword and the golden light fades away. His eyes go back to normal color. He kneels down and falls onto the ground.
Sheba sees the demons getting closer to him. Sheba shouts at Sam who sees it too. "Throw me!"
"Now? You'll land on concrete."
"Just do it," shouts Sheba.
Sam gets near her, picks her up and throws her into the air. Sheba pulls out her shiny windlass qama with a golden hilt. She lands on a demon for a moment before stabbing its back and rolling on the ground. Several demons block Sheba's path. She takes a deep breath before going towards them with her knife ready to slice anyone down.
A demon screams as Sheba stabs its stomach. Sam and Jon run towards the fight. Sheba cries out as blood hit her shoulder sizzling the shirt. She hisses in pain but doesn't give up. The demons surround her raising their swords. Dave slowly gets up but not before throwing up chunks of food all over them. Sheba groans in disgust.
