Sheba is too tired to argue Sam as they take the bus. Their van broke down and they had to wait for a while to catch a bus.
"I can't believe you still think that we should go to Chicago, after all that has happen to us? It's a sign telling us to go back."
Sam shakes his head and says, "If we go back now we'll disappoint Joshua and the rest of them."
Jon is sleeping soundly as they sit in the back. Sam can't shut up for the longest and yet he may be onto something. They lost their phones so they can't contact Joshua or the others.
"When we arrive we'll contact Joshua and tell him about the infected."
Sam shrugs his shoulders but reasons with it as he falls asleep. Sheba looks out the window, desperately wanting to go back and be with Dave, but that will have to wait. I wonder what he's doing right now.
Dave ducks and strikes a soldier with the butt of his sword, knocking him down. Joshua has already taken several men down and Michal is. . .doing her own thing. Dave summons larger rocks and causes the soldiers to fall back. The lions swipes at the soldiers, throwing them back, and Angelica shoots fire at their flesh.
Dave throws a rock up, knocking a soldier out, but others run towards him with batons and swords. The one with the guns hide behind trees and begins to shoot. Dave strikes them with several rocks, some falling down while others hide behind the tree. The lions roar and ram through the ranks of soldier, but not fatally hurting them. Dave leaps over a burning Cadillac Escalade and barrages the soldiers with rocks. Michal drops Dave's staff and grabs one of the soldier's sword. She plunges the sword in the soldier's armor and lets go. The soldier stumbles and falls down and lays there.
"Michal," shouts Dave.
"What? There's no time to worry about them. We need to fight!"
Joshua swipes at their legs and they go down.
"Hurry! The helicopters will be here any minute now," shouts Michal, jumping onto several soldiers.
Dave is suddenly thrown down by two men.
"Stay down. You're under arrest for assaulting the S.A.U.L's security force."
Dave punches one of them in the face and scrambles to grab his sword but another guard throws him roughly on the ground and starts beating him with the baton. Suddenly the soldiers are hit by a massive silver animal and Dave stagger. Omega bends down and Dave gets on. The lion leaps over several men and Dave gets off to grab his staff. He swings it and knocks two over and scrambles on Omega.
He roars and runs towards Alpha who knocks the soldiers with one paw at a time. Michal and Joshua sees Dave fighting off the reinforcements.
"We need to leave. Too much attention," shouts Joshua, as citizens begin to make a large crowd.
"I got this," shouts Angelica as she wraps herself in flames and barrage the ground.
Flames spread around and the lions begin to come after Joshua and Michal.
"Get on," shouts Dave.
Joshua grabs Michal's arm and says, "We'll talk about that later."
Michal gets on Omega and they ride out of the park. The soldiers race towards them but can't stop them. The lions run slower than usually.
"What's wrong with our vehicles?"
"Your 'vehicles' need to rest. Our speed is too much to do every minute, Michal."
