The best writing is one that writes for himself. People love original. Be originally you. I promise this makes writing easier.
It's okay to get information and ideas from other books, as long as you take those ideas and twist them into something that fits you.
I like to place pieces of myself into my characters. All my books have a piece of me in them. It makes writing a little easier because let's face it, writing is not easy. We all know that.
