"Danika?" I'm reading a book when hearing my name. Looking over to Felix as he comes over with a bouquet of light pink peonies, my favorite flower "Do you know what I realized?"

Shrugging my shoulders smiling "I don't know"

"I realized I never properly asked you out on a date" he holds the bouquet to me "Danika Swan, would you like to go out on a date? Say tomorrow night at seven? We could do what some humans do and get dinner then see a movie?"

Nodding my head taking the flowers "I would love to" I then realized something "I'm going to find water for these" sniffing them smiling "my favorite"

"I asked Violet" shrugging his shoulders

Kissing the side of his cheek "I love them and you" quickly running away to find Violet, she looks my way along with Demetri. They were watching a movie "Violet"

"I see" Violet points to the flowers "Felix got you flowers"

Nodding my head "He also asked me out"

"Shut up!" She gasps pulling away from Demetri "did you say yes?

"Yes" exclaiming and she screeches "but I don't know what to wear"

She gasps standing up "We need to go through your clothes" taking my hand, she pulls away as Felix goes towards Demetri "Hi Felix, bye Felix"

I notice Felix look at Demetri confused as he says "Clothing emergency"

Once here Violet asks as we pull out my clothes "Now on a scale of nun to hooker, how sexy do you want to appear for Felix?"

"Wait! Wait!" Violet demands after we've gone through a bunch of outfits "what are you two doing? Will there be sex"

Nodding my head "is?" she grabs a crop top with a long skirt, a brown leather jacket with light brown heels.

"Now let's talk about your hair and makeup" she and I go to my makeup train four in one storage case "now, are you nervous?"

"This is the first date" she holds my hair up in a bun debating "some people are nervous, anxious"

"Maybe because those people don't really know who they are going out with" grabbing one of the lipsticks deciding if the color is right "but I know that Felix is mine and I'm his. He's so respectful, kind, strong, patient"

"The perfect man" Violet smiles "Demetri is the same, but unlike you and Felix we went right at it...then again I don't have an overprotective dad to order Demetri that we wait till marriage"

"Technically your like a second daughter to my parents" reminding her "so, I'm sure if you bring it up my dad will threaten him"

Violet smiles "That's a nice thought, but no"

"Wait right here" Violet orders me as I'm ready for my date "when I call you down and you'll know when, you'll come down" she leaves as I look in the mirror checking my outfit for the tenth time. I'm wearing a floral crop top with a pink high low skirt and a brown leather jacket with beige strapped heels. My hair is up in a high ponytail with some light eyeshadow and lip gloss.

"Where's Dani?" Felix asks

"She is on her way" she means now probably "now, remember young man hands do not travel upwards or downwards. Right here only and if there is any kissing then only lip to lip contact and not your lips on her secret garden—hey! I'm just going over what Daniel asked me to go over"

I'm at the top of the stair case looking at Felix as he looks really hot "Hi" he looks my way as I smile, walking down towards him I notice Demetri holding Violet back and covering her mouth.

"Have fun" Demetri pulls Violet away just as she yells "I want her hymen in tact young man!" Demetri throws Violet over his shoulder walking away as Felix guides me outside to a motorcycle.

"You drive a motorcycle?" Smiling brightly "so hot"

"Come on" he hands me a helmet, putting it on I wrap my arms tightly around Felix as he revs up the engine before driving off.

After a few hours, we make it to this Italian restaurant. Going inside, we go to a booth and after ordering we chat "So" looking at Felix "what was your human life like?"

"I was a gladiator" he says "I had a little sister, her name is Alexia. She died because of childbirth, a little girl. One of my daughters. I named her Illythia, I had five daughters. Illythi, Gaia, Melitta, Anita, and Malia. Two sons. Marcus and Kraynus. My sons and I were protective over the girls, they were all beautiful and men wanted them. Died in the arena or I was left for dead. When I was turned I watched over my children from a distance as a vampire, each of my girls lived long happy lives for the era they were in and my sons both died in battle"

Rubbing his arm "I'm sorry"

"Long time ago" he assured me "so, what was it like growing up?"

"As you know my...life" our food and drinks are given to us "I had to be careful, even my parents since they were newborns"

"Must have been hard" he says "I don't think I could have done what your parents did at that age"

"I don't know how they did it either" shrugging my shoulders "I mean I remember it all" he furrowed his eyebrows "us hybrids remember it all, we remember our last moments in our mother's wombs before being born"

Nodding my head as I begin to eat, covering my mouth "i wish I didn't remember it since it was hard, I mean watching our mothers and their dying forms" Felix rubs my back "I'm just glad my mom and dad were both turned"
