Twenty Five

"He did what?" Daniel demands holding Cersei to him, we are looking over the balcony to the humans Demetri and Dani brought in. They are arguing with Shane about what he did.

Just as we were about to leave, Beth's boyfriend Jimmy brought a Walker and Dani had the kids not look as he shot the person multiple times before shooting him in the head. Now Hershel is out getting drunk god knows where while Maggie, Beth, Patricia, Jimmy and Otis are here. Rick left to talk to him because Beth went into a coma like state.

"What do we do with him?" Violet asks

"I don't know" Cersei shakes her head "guess we wait till Everett and Calanthe come back" yeah, the two went out because Calanthe had another one of her feelings. So this time she's gone out.

"I can't believe you both got married and had kids" Daniel shakes his head looking between me and Dani "were grandparents"

"We're grandparents" Cersei smiles, hearing the door open we see Ben Carrington along with some pregnant brunette who looks to be about twenty and is carrying a baby "Ben?!" Cersei runs down to give her brother a hug, he takes a step back started by her.

"Hey sis" I thought he died

"I thought he died" Daniel voiced my thoughts

Dani shakes her head "I guess he survived, he left to get his girlfriend who was pregnant and I guess they got pregnant again"

"So" Demetri, Daniel, Everett and I look around the prison since it's been some months and after planning we need to prepare before leaving to up north. We've decided to head up north to New York. Specifically the Hamptons since it would be a perfect spot for many things "how are things with Lori and Rick?"

"Lori refused to speak to Rick and Rick is just trying" A few months after Shane did what he did, he tried to kill Rick. So Rick killed him first—Dani, Carl and Amy were around when they saw what happened. Rick told everyone what he did, Lori from what I see is unable to forgive him "I have a feeling Rick is just about ready to leave the group, leave and be on his own" especially when Carl snapped at him a few days ago before everyone about how he wished Shane was still here instead of Rick.

"Let's go get those inmates" right, three out of five inmates are still human here and we only need three of them. An Oscar, Axel and Big Tiny. Between the five of them; Calanthe said that those three were the only ones worth saving while the other two can just die.

"How" Daniel asks "do you want to go at this?"

"Demetri and I" Everett looks to us "will get the inmates, you two kill the walkers and stack their bodies. I'll bring the moving truck after and we'll stack the bodies to bring back to Carrington Manor to have everything be sorted out.

|Dani's POV|

"Are you sure you want to leave?" Asking Rick as he told us that he doesn't want to stay, that he wants to be on his own. It's about three and we're helping Rick load his RV that Calanthe had spelled, she said that Rick will be traveling west towards Montana and that everything he needs will be in here.

He nods his head "it's clear that my family doesn't need me, nor want me" they are just angry right now "to them I died a long time ago"

"Where will you go?" Sabina asks

"I was thinking Montana" he tells us "Calanthe told me that if I head up there I'll be able to start new"

"Do you want to say goodbye to Lori or Carl?" I ask

Shaking his head no "And please, don't tell them where I am until it's been over a few days" we promise, this is sad. When we first found Rick he was begging for Carl and Lori to be alive, now he is thinking that they would have been better off without him coming back.

"Where are you headed?" We see Dale come out of the manor to look at Rick and his RV.

"I'm leaving" Rick tells him "I'm leaving and not coming back, I've decided to be on my own"

Dale looks at him shocked "If this is about what Carl said and how Lori has been acting since Shane died...they will understand in time"

"I'm sorry Dale" Rick apologized "but I need to to, I'll miss you" we watch as Rick drives away and I shake my head sighing. This is such a sad thing, I mean we understand why Rick did what he did. Shane was getting reckless and he tries to kill Rick. Lori can't see past her blind rage since she fell for Shane but...he had it good and she took it for granted.

"Where's Rick?" Lori asks me as I'm with Amy in the stables brushing the horses. It's been a few days and we've been watching Lori and Carl, neither seems to have noticed that Rick is gone. Then again, for the last many months Lori and Carl have avoided Rick. Talking to him every now and then.

"He left" Amy answers

"So I'm a supply run?" She asks

Shaking our heads no "I mean gone as if he left and isn't coming back" Amy places her hand on her hip "Rick was an honorable man, how you let him go is beyond me"

"Rick left the group?" Lori repeats looking between us shocked

"Don't" snorting at her "look so shocked, you and Carl practically drove him away. Besides, he's long gone by now" she places a hand on her belly leaving as tears run down her face. But before she leaves "When we found Rick, the first thing on his mind was you and Carl. Between him and Shane if I didn't have my mate, I would choose Rick because he is the better man"

"I would too" Amy agrees with me "you really messed up when you let Rick do and didn't scold your son about what he did"
