I sit in class watching Aizawa teach. It had been a few days since getting my hero liscence. Bakugo and todoroki were still in remedial classes, but would hopefully be graduating soon.

Tommorow we were going to have our mid-term test. I was nervous. The teachers wouldn't give us any hints other than to practice. I have been practicing. I know everyone would do great. Me though, I don't now. I've seen everyone grow so much in the short time I've known them. I'm proud of them. They've worked so hard.

Class ends and we walk to the cafeteria. Bakugo grabs some lunch while I stare out the window. Something felt wrong but I couldn't tell what. Everything seemed normal.

Come on guys were going to be late for out dinner reservation. My daddy had to book this 6 months in advance. Dash I will be so made at you if we miss this." My girlfriend Paulina complains.

I sigh. I'm sorry babe. Works been slow lately. I haven't had the money tk get my car fixed. I say trying to figure out why it wouldn't start. I wasn't a car guy and I regretted nit listening more to my dad when I was younger about these types of things." Let's just call an Uber." I sigh nodding. I was so tired of her whining.

We get to the nearest gas station ordering an Uber. The car pulls up and we get inside." Its about time. You took forever!" Paulina says getting in the front seat. Star and I sat in the back. The doors lock but the blond haired girl doesn't move or say anything.

"Hello are you listening to me. We are going to be late. Drive, now!"

It happened in a split second. She was looking at herself in the mirror complaining. The next there was nothing except silent gurgling. I stare wide eyed at the knife that was now inbedded in her neck. Star immediately starts screaming. We try unlocking the doors but they wouldn't unlock. The girl slowly turns around. Sinister eyes with fangs poke from her mouth. Blood at the corner of her mouth. In one swift movement pain spread through my neck and my world went dark. Thales sound of stars screaming became distant.

I smirk staring down at the unmoving figures. This was a step up from the regular nomus, even the more advanced nomus. They had to be. We would be going to war soon. They had to withstand the ghost king himself. We would destroy him and everything he stands for. Him and Midoriya, Izuku will die. I think we chose the perfect candidates for this. Phantom as shown that he has trouble dealing with his past. What better way than to bring the past back. I look to toga who was smiling to herself cleaning her knife.

What a nice little monster she was!

Today was.our mid term. A sinking feeling had sat in my gut since yesterday, but I couldn't tell what it was. I tried pushing it away, bit something told me I needed to figure out what it was.

We were walking outside. Kat grabs my hands giving me a smile. I give a small smile as well. I needed to try and focus.

We get to one of UAs training facilities. We spot class B already out and waiting for us. Aizawa starts explaining to us the assignment and what we needed tk do to pass. Even introduced us to a kid named shinso. Who wanted to transfer to the hero course.

Aizawa starts drawing names when a familiar portal opens up in front of me. lm surprised to see clock work. I'm even more surprised to see his uphevaled clothes. Something was wrong. Clock work was a very put together ghost. Not a lot could stress him out and even then he was good at hiding it. So to see him Like that immediately was a cause for alarm.

He steps out making anyone who didn't know ow who he was back up and stamd in a defensive position.

I hold my hand up." Class 1-B he is not a threat. Please do not attack him." I look to clock work who gave me a look. A look any person could recognize. It was the look of hopelessness, sad, angry.

"Aizawa, please excuse me. Something urgent has come up. I will try to be back before my turn but I cant make any promises." He sighs, nodding, muttering about me being a problem child. I follow clockwork through the portal. We step into clock works tower. Im equally surprised when Frostbite sat on his couch sipping some tea.

"Danny it's been to long my friend. How have you been?" He says patting me on the back. I smile." I've been better Frostbite, but things are slowly getting better. Or that's what I thought. Judging by how clockwork came to get me and you sitting here. Leaving the far frozen makes me think something has happened again.

There's a sigh." Danny, what were about to tell you was never intended to hurt you. We never wanted it to come to light." I look between them." Start explaining what's going on!" They both look to eachother.
"Daniel, among the time keepers there were always things we were meant to protect. The crown, the ring, the castle and a book. This book was special though. It was used by the first ghost king, and pariah dark had come to know of it, but could never get his hands on it.

This book as far as we know is older than the ghost zone itself. We have records that the book was in existence even before the reaper himself. Its what helped grant the first ghost king the amount of power he did. This book is a sorcerer of pure evil that was deemed unhandable by anyone. Just holding the book corrupts them."
