I quickly take my suit off washing my body. I could feel the stares on my back as they got a real look at my back, unlike the first time. I do my best to ignore the stares and wash my hair. I'm a little disgusted with myself as I see dirt and grime flow down the drain. Geez, I hadn't realized I would get so dirty. Do other ghosts get as dirty as me? Or just me since I still retain a physical body? It's probably just me, but I should ask later after everything is all done. I finish washing off and rinsing my hair.

Turning around, I get into the tub, seeing most smile at me. The water was hot, but I pushed the feeling away. My heart beat as nobody said anything." We're gla-"

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have left the way I did. I should have explained better. I'm sorry for abandoning you guys. I didn't mean for things to turn out the way they did. I thought I could handle it on my own -" I'm suddenly smacked in the head. Turning around, I'm surprised to see it was midoriya." Danny, we both made mistakes, but we did it with good intentions. Yeah, you left on bad terms. Your back now, though, so you can make up with kacchan. He's hurting my head with all the noogies." I look to kat who looks away." We'll make up when we're not both naked in the bath!" I say hearing the majority of the guys snickering.

"It's not like that, you guys. It's just that we're still young and have time to think about things. And um, we have the future battles to think about, too." I say, covering my face. I'm stunned when kat walks over, kissing my forehead again. My face burns again." If that's what you want. I could care less about these extras." I stare at him, stunned and wide eyes. Holy fuck. This man was going to erase my existence!

We all soon get out of the tub. We meet with the girls who hig us saying their glad we're back and that they missed us. We didn't stay to long. Everyone was exhausted. I follow kat to his room. It was tense. I didn't know if he wanted to have the conversation tonight or tommorow.

Walking in we shut the door. I sit on his bed as he sits next to me. Nothing is said as we sit there for what felt like eternity but, in actuality, was only a few minutes. I'm about to speak, but he beats me to it." You really hurt me, Danny. I don't understand what I had done wrong." His voice cracks at the end, making me look to his face. I get up, grabbing his face in my hands, making him look at me.

"You did nothing wrong. It was me. I wanted to protect you from the future, which could happen. Being a halfa was difficult. Your whole world is flipped upside down. Friends you've known forever suddenly don't want to talk to you. Family trying to kill you. A good student suddenly treated like a delinquent. Ghosts trying to attack and kill you. What could be a normal life would never be the same. I just don't want you to regret following this path." I say stepping back.

More tears stream down my face. I was going to him the choice. He could walk away now. He wouldn't have to deal with all the stresses of being connected to the ghost zone or its people. He could grow up to be an outstanding hero, making, who found a wife or husband. Had a family and protects the human world. He should know what he's getting himself into before it's too late.

"Danny, I don't regret a moment of my life since meeting you! You are one of the bravest, kindest, funnest, and stupidest guys I know. Your not perfect, but neither am I. Even when i was a dick to everyone, you still had a smile on your face. Wow I would like a chick, but it's true. It's all true. You can push me away as much as you want, but I'll never stop looking and chasing after you. I know your worried for me because I'm still human. I will be fine. Whatever happens happens. Just know j don't regret a moment with you. You are the one j want to be with. 18 my ass your will be my husband. That I will promise." I tackle him into a hug kissing him.

After a few seconds we pull away and I smile." Who knew under all that muscle was a true sap. I think you amd the girls should watch a few romance movies." He grunts." Dont tease me. I'll only show this side of me to you." I smile lacing our fingers to look at the rind on his hand." Till death do us part!"

Regardless of what I said in the tub to the others. I just couldn't resist kat and his charm. Especially knowing that we may not have a future soon. We wanted to make the most of our time together.

It was a few days after we came back that we hot word that an American hero was facing off with tomura. I wanted to go help, but the teachers told me to stay. Why I listened to them I had no idea. But the hole I felt in my chest at the news of Star and stripes death. I had never heard of her before.

The woman earned more than my respect. I was happy to feel her soul awakened in the ghost zone. I was even happier to tell her brothers in arms that she was in a sense still alive and would one day see her again. Not in death, hopefully.

Star and Stripe had done a remarkable job taking on tomura and come to find out. Even after death when tomura stole her quirk. She was still kicking his ass. Her quirk was shredding his other quirks. She did as much damage to him as she could, and she didn't disappoint. She bought us one week to get everything ready for the finale battle. This is what everything came down to.
