spinning wheels in the land destroyed,
and forced Aurora into her room,
never to leave.
On the day of her 16th birthday,
curiosity overtook her-
she left her room to explore the abandoned
basement. There, fully intact, was
a spinning wheel. And on its point,
was a spindle.
Aurora reached out and touched it.
As soon as she did, she
