After the meetings , taehyung is rushing towards the chambers , seeing a maid leaving as she's just finished feeding the king , locking the doors when she leaves.
" oh my poor baby " tae cries out , siting beside jungkook who's eyes is half way opened , groaning in pain but seeks tae's hands , taehyung holding his with a smile.
" you'll be better soon , mother and i are preparing for the ritual tomorrow , you're going to be brand new with working legs soon " he says hopefull.
Jungkook having a slight smile on his face " it hurts " he says weakly.
" i know baby , i wish i could carry this pain with you " taehyung says , wanting to cry but he calms down.
Getting up to grab a wet cloth , dabbing it on Jungkook's face to get the temperature to drop , he does this for a while but jungkook rubs his thigh " You naughty alpha " tae chuckles.
Getting up as he starts to undress until he's bare , turning off the lamp , getting under the covers with his husband , jungkook turning to the side in his weak state , latching his mouth on taehyung's nipple , sucking on his breasts softly , claiming it helps him sleep , while taehyung pats his head and sings him a lullaby.

" mother " he says , walking up to her , she turns to face him , having a sad smile on.
Taehyung sighs sadly " i can't imagine the pain you must feel , you are his mother after all "tae says softly.
" i was all he had , when his father died after his grave atrocities , then been cursed when he was just a baby , it was so much to handle but we survived , then you came along and he has you now , you're our only hope " eleanor speaks from a place of pain.
" once the ritual is done tomorrow , we will all be happy , there will be no need for tears " Tae says.
