Author's POV:

The moon was obscured by dark gray clouds, from which water fell like buckets. The stars could be faintly seen through individual gaps.

The two boys sit in Yoongi's car, he drives while Hoseok sits in the passenger seat. The windshield wipers are constantly on, which doesn't make it any easier to see.

The address that Yn sent on Hobi's phone is about twenty minutes away by car, and the two of them are already halfway there. Both are very worried about Yn and imagine the worst-case scenarios.

The question that both of them and Jimin, who has stayed in the apartment, ask themselves is what has happened to make Yn so upset.

A short time later, they arrive at the address. It is a club that is popular with students. A large neon sign hangs above the entrance and through the door, in front of which two guards are standing, you can see the colorful lights and hear the loud music.

Hobi is about to push open the door of the car when the older man holds him back by the arm. "Hyung, what is it? We have to go inside and look for her." He says, trying to free himself from the other man's tight grip.

He just shakes his head and reaches behind his seat, where he pulls out an umbrella. "I don't think she's in the club. All I heard on the phone was the sound of cars and the wind, so we'll probably have to look for her outside."

Hobi nods and takes the umbrella. "I think you should stay here, I'll go and get her."

As he gets out of the car, he opens the red umbrella and holds it over his head. Raindrops run over the umbrella to the edge and fall to the ground. After just a few seconds, the jeans he is wearing and his shoes are completely soaked but he hardly notices.

Large puddles of dirty brown water have formed on the street and the sidewalk.

"She won't have gone far, but which way should I look first?" He mumbles to himself and after a few seconds decides to follow the road to the right.

The rain is now coming from behind him and soaking the green sweater he is wearing. The water is running down the back of his neck and his hair is also wet, making it look almost black.

He walks quickly along the path, it is too dark and only a distant street lamp helps him to make out anything, so he has to look a little closer when he sees a shadow huddled next to a tree leaning against the wall of a house.

As he takes a few steps closer, he recognizes the person, her hair is completely wet and hangs in strands in her face. There are no dry patches on her clothes either.

She is sitting there with her legs drawn up, her arms wrapped around them and her head hanging low. Hobi can see that she is trembling.

"Yn!" He shouts and runs to her. When she hears his voice, she lifts her head and Hobi feels a pang in his chest, her face is streaked with tears, her make-up is runny and she is so pale that her face resembles the white wall she is leaning against.

He quickly kneels down to her and holds the umbrella over her. He carefully places his hand on her cheek and wipes away the tears with his thumb. It doesn't help much, as new tears keep rolling down, but he doesn't care.

Yn starts to sob and before he knows it she is hugging him tightly. He doesn't hesitate for a second, drops the umbrella next to him and wraps his arms around her.

Her body is cold and with her wet clothes pressed against him, he is now also wet from top to bottom.

Her head lies on his chest and her tears mingle with the rain, she clings to Hobi's shirt as if he will simply disappear at any moment, as if he is the only thing keeping her alive.

After five minutes, Hoseok releases the embrace and pushes her slightly away from him so that he can look into her face, her eyes are red and swollen. And her nose is also red.

He strokes one of her wet strands behind her ear. "We should go, you'll get sick." He stands up and pulls her to her feet as well. He grabs the umbrella which is still lying on the ground, but since he sees no reason to use it, as they are both wet anyway, he closes it.

Yn stands unsteadily on her feet and can't see much through her tear-blurred eyes. Hoseok realizes that she is not feeling well at all and carefully puts an arm around her waist.

With Hobi's support, the two walk back to the car where Yoongi is already waiting impatiently.

YN POV:

As soon as Yoongi sees us coming, he opens the door and waits for us to get in. Hobi helps me into the back seat before sitting down next to me.

Yoongi, who is sitting in the driver's seat, turns to us and even with the little light we have in the car, I can see how worried he looks.

"Yn, what happened? Are you okay?" I want to answer him, but the lump in my throat makes it impossible. The memory of what I saw and heard brings tears to my eyes again. I just shake my head and start sobbing again.

Hobi gently strokes my back to calm me down. Without hesitation, I hug him again and bury my face in his neck. I'm now sitting on his lap, which would probably be extremely embarrassing in another situation, but I don't care right now.

As he hugs me too, he continues to stroke my back and whisper things that are probably meant to reassure me.

"Hyung, I think we should go to my apartment, she's completely soaked, I don't want her to get sick." I feel the vibration of his voice and hear Yoongi agree. "You're right. There's a blanket next to you, best to wrap her in it."

Hobi moves his arm from my back, probably to take the blanket he meant. "Yn, will you let go of me so I can put the blanket on you?" In answer to his question, I just shake my head.

He doesn't answer, just nods in agreement. I feel him put the blanket over my back and shoulders before he tucks it between his back and the seat.

My sobbing has stopped, now I just have tears running down my cheeks.

I hear Yoongi start the car's engine and shortly afterwards, he pulls out of the parking space onto the road.

With my eyes closed, I just sit there and enjoy the warmth emanating from Hobi and the blanket.

My eyes are burning and I can feel myself getting tired, the collapse has robbed me of a lot of energy.

After a few minutes, I feel myself slowly falling asleep.

Hobi's POV:

I notice Yn's grip loosen and her sobs stop. Her arms are now loosely around my neck and her head is resting on my shoulder. As I look into her face, I see her sleeping peacefully.

Through the streetlights flying by outside, I can see the traces of tears on her normally pink cheeks, but now they are white as lime.

Her hair is slowly drying and the rain has made it slightly curly.

It pains me to see her sad and I would love to know what has happened and if there is anything I can do to make her feel better.

"What do you think happened? Do you think she'll tell us?" I look ahead and my eyes meet Yoongi's, who is looking at us through the rear-view mirror. "I don't know, but I hope she confides in one of us. It's not good to keep pain inside."

The rest of the journey is quiet in the car, Yoongi concentrates on the road while I watch the rain on the windshield. My gaze keeps wandering to Yn's sleeping face and I gently stroke her cheek.

Soon we arrive in front of the house and Yoongi gets out first to hold the umbrella over me and Yn, not wanting to wake her, I carry her up to my apartment.

When we get upstairs, Jimin is already waiting at the door and lets us in. I ignore the questions about what happened and walk straight to my room. I can still hear Yoongi answering him before the door closes behind me.

I carefully lay her in my bed, pull my blanket over her and sit on the edge of the bed with her. I brush a few strands of hair out of her face, then lean down and give her a kiss on the forehead before leaving the room and joining my friends in the living room.
