Hobi POV:
"So, what's the plan?" Jimin asks as he plops down on my couch with a bowl filled to the brim with chips. I look at him with a confused face. "What plan, what do you mean?"
He raises an eyebrow. "Well, you said now that this Soo Hyun guy is gone you want to try and make her remember you, I assumed you had a plan for that."
"Well, I was thinking of just repeating everything we did as kids." I reply while scratching the back of my head.
"That sounds like a plan, doesn't it?" Jimin grins.
A snort beside me pulls my attention, which was focused on Jimin, to Yoongi. "That's not a plan. I'm telling you it won't work." Offended, the younger man looks at him. "Hyung, why are you always so negative about everything, how do you know it won't work?"
"I just know, but you can try anyway." Yoongi says with a shrug. "Have you tried anything yet?"
"Yeah, sort of, after I picked her up from her lecture, we watched a movie that she loved as a child." I say and smile at the thought.
It was as if she had seen the movie for the very first time. She wasn't exactly thrilled before, as it was a children's movie, but later she loved it like she used to.
"Omo Hobi, that movie was the best I've ever seen, how cute that little puppy was at the end and how great that she got her wish after all. I've never seen a better movie."
Yoongi brings me from my thoughts back to the present. "It's all well and good that she liked it. But were there any signs that she remembers?"
I slump my shoulders dejectedly. "No, unfortunately not."
"It doesn't work like that." Jimin now interjects. "Didn't you ever do anything special, something that only the two of you did together?"
He's right, I need something more personal than a movie, something she's guaranteed to remember me by."
"You could just show her a picture of you two as children and try to explain everything to her, maybe she'll remember." Jimin waves it off. "No, Hyung said he doesn't want to do it that way because he thinks it would come across as weird."
"But the picture isn't a bad idea." I think about it. "Do you remember the picture Jimin once found of me and Yn as children by the waterfall?" I take a short break to listen to their answers. Once they have both agreed, I continue. "I'll just tell her we're going on a hike and take her to the waterfall, then she'll remember."
"Yeah, that should work, I think." Yoongi said now. "Do you even know if she likes hiking?" Jimin interjects.
"Well, she used to like it."

YN POV:
"Wait, you want to go hiking?" I grimace as I watch him stow two large backpacks in the trunk of Yoongi's car.
When he turns back to me, he laugh. Did he just laugh at me?
"Yes, I know a great place, I used to visit it with my childhood friend. I thought it would be a good break from everything for you."
With a sigh I let myself fall into the passenger seat, while Hobi takes the seat next to me on the driver's side. "Aren't the others coming? I think Jimin would like it."
He shakes his head and starts the car "No, they've got other plans for today.
Soon there was silence between us, but it wasn't awkward or anything, no, it was relaxing to be with someone who didn't talk at you all the time.
Despite enjoying the silence, I press the button that turns on the radio. It doesn't take long for Hobi to start singing along.
"Come on, sing along." He asks me with a big smile. I hesitate, but can't resist for long.
Meanwhile-
"Do you think his plan is working?" Yoongi sighs in annoyance. "I don't fucking know."
The older man, who has been pestered with questions by Jimin the whole time, takes a sip of his coffee and looks out the window.
The two of them are in the café where Hoseok has his part-time job and are waiting to hear from their friend whether he has made any progress so far.
Jimin bobs his leg up and down with nervousness, which drives Yoongi crazy. He gives the younger boy an annoyed look, which he ignores. "Can you give it a rest?" he snorts.
Sorry, he replies meekly. "I'd just be so happy for Hobi hyung if she remembers."
"Don't be too happy too soon, maybe she'll be mad at him for not telling her or something."
"Hyung! Can't you try to look on the bright side. It's not going to happen." Jimin complains and Yoongi just shrugs his shoulders before emptying his cup and grabbing his things.
"Hey, where are you going?" Jimin calls after him as he jumps up and runs after him. "I don't feel like just sitting here waiting for a message from him. If we're not allowed to go with them, at least let's do something else."
"How about we go to the basketball court and play a game?" Jimin thinks for a moment. "Sounds great, let's do that."
