Hobi POV:

Yn and I are sitting together in the Bark on the bench where I last saw her, eating our pizza.

She thought some food and a therapy session with her would do me good. She's not entirely wrong, but I want to talk to her like the old Yn who remembers everything.

After the nightmare, from which I woke up drenched in sweat, I spent the whole time thinking about how I could make her remember me again.

I thought to myself that if I told her just like that, she wouldn't believe me. She'd call me a crazy stalker again and I don't want that, I have the feeling that things are going much better between us right now, that she's starting to like me.

I watch her shove her last slice of pizza into her mouth and have to stifle a smile, she looks like a chipmunk right now.

"Why are you laughing?" she asks with a raised eyebrow and her mouth still full. "No reason." I say with a grin. I hand her a cloth and when she looks at me questioningly, I point my finger at a spot next to my mouth.

She forms an O with her mouth and quickly takes it before wiping off the red sauce.

"So Hobi, tell me what's on your mind and won't let you sleep at night." She sits down cross-legged on the bench opposite me and stares at me intently. "I don't know if I should tell you that." I look nervously to all sides to avoid her gaze.

"Come on. I'm a great listener and I can keep secrets." She winks at me and laughs. "I mean we might hate each other but..." I interject. "No. We don't hate each other, you hate me and you still haven't explained why."

"Oh, that..." she turns her head away from me and I see her thinking. "This isn't a conversation for now. This is about your problems."

"Okay, let me ask you something then." She nods and looks at me intently. "Do you have a boyfriend?" Apparently confused by the question, she sits up straighter and looks at me questioningly. "Is that important for your explanation of the problem?" she asks with creased eyebrows.

"Something like that, yes." "Okay, in that case. Yes I do." She smiles at that sentence and I feel my heart tighten. "How long have you been together?" She thinks for a moment, "About two years."

"How did you two meet?" She looks at me skeptically, "Hobi, I don't think you need that for your explanation."

I clear my throat briefly. "Yes, that's right. Sorry, I was just curious."

"You know, about three years ago, I wanted to confess my feelings to my childhood friend, but unfortunately I couldn't."

"Did you get cold feet?" Her expectant gaze on me makes me totally nervous. "No, not really. I gave her a letter with everything in it. But as it turns out, she didn't get around to reading it."

"Oh shit, I'm sorry about that." When I look up, I can actually see pity in her eyes. "But why is it bothering you so much now?"

I look her closely in the eye as I continue to speak. "I saw her again recently." I have to swallow as she leans forward, she's too close. "So, did you take her up on it?"

I shake my head slightly and she groans in annoyance as she throws her head back. "Why the fuck not!"

"She has a boyfriend now," I say meekly and look to the side.

"So what?" This answer does indeed surprise me and I look at her questioningly, tilting my head. "What do you mean? I just said she has a boyfriend and you're telling me to do it anyway?"

She shrugs her shoulders. "What's the big deal? If you tell her and she stays with her boyfriend, then everything is as it is now and you can try to get over your feelings. And if she loves you more and breaks up with her boyfriend, then you'll be together. So no matter what you do, it can only get better."

"I wish it were that easy." I mutter, glad that Yn is too distracted watching a bird to have heard me.

"So..." I clap my hands lightly. "Shall we continue the project tomorrow?"

She looks at me with a grin. "Can't, I already have a date."

I raise an eyebrow. "With your boyfriend?" "Nope, with a little angel." She jumps up and grabs her bag. I just stare at her, confused. "What is it, are you coming?" I jump up as quickly as I can and run after her.

"An angel? Sure you don't need medical attention?" She laughs, oh how I've missed that laugh. "I'm taking a little girl to a museum tomorrow, if you have to know."

"To the new natural history museum? Can I go?" She stops and I almost run into her. "I don't know." She plays uncertainly with her hair. "Oh come on, I'm lovely too," I say while making puppy eyes,

"Okay, fine by me. But I have to ask Mina's mother first if it's okay."

"When do you have your lectures tomorrow?" she asks as she starts to walk on. "I only have one tomorrow and it's in the morning." I say and run after her like a dog.

"Then we'll meet tomorrow after the lecture in front of the university entrance. I have to go now. Make sure you get some sleep and don't look like a zombie tomorrow! Bye." She waves to me one last time before walking in a different direction to me.

With a big grin on my face, I make my way home too.

YN POV:

Next morning ...

My lecture has just finished and I'm on my way to meet up with Hoseok.

I squeeze through the other students hurrying to their lectures and roll my eyes in annoyance. There are definitely far too many strangers for me.

Arriving at the university entrance, I lean against the trunk of a large tree and put on my headphones.

A mix of my favorite songs plays through them and I close my eyes while the sun's rays warm my face.

I stand there for about five minutes when a shadow suddenly steals the sun from my face. Annoyed, I open my eyes only to see a beaming Hobi in front of me.

I take off my headphones and place them in my bag. "Good morning Sunshine." "Morning, what's with the nickname?" I ask grumpily and make my way to the park, with him in tow.

"Just like that, I thought it suited you." I turn around and stare at him with a 'your-serious' look. He laughs and shrugs his shoulders. "Maybe not right now, but otherwise I think it fits." "Whatever you say."

When we arrive at the park, my mood improves immediately when I see Mina jumping around on the grass. Her mother is sitting on a bench next to her with a book in her hand, reading.

As soon as Mina notices me, she comes running towards me and immediately greets me with a big hug. "Eonni, there you are at last." She releases the hug and looks behind me. "And who is that? Your boyfriend?"

I start to laugh and quickly set the record straight. "No, little girl, he's a friend from university." She immediately runs to him and holds out her little hand. "Hey, I'm Mina. It's nice to meet you."

Hoseok shakes her hand with a grin and introduces himself. "Nice to meet you Mina, I'm Hoseok but you can call me Hobi."

I let the two of them get to know each other while I go to Mina's mother. " Good morning Yn, you're right on time." I bow slightly to her and wish her a good morning too.

"I wanted to ask you something else, miss." She nods and motions for me to continue. "One of my friends wanted to come with me to the museum, but I wanted to ask first if it's okay for you." I say and point to Hoseok, who is playing catch with Mina in the meadow.

A smile flits across her face and she nods. "That's very considerate of you to ask again. I don't mind, it seems Mina likes him."

She puts her book in her bag and looks at her watch. "It's about time, I have my appointment soon. Here." She hands me a piece of paper and when I unfold it, I see a number and an address on it.

"In case of emergency, should something happen." I nod and she goes to Mina and says goodbye to her daughter.
