Searchingly I look around for my other group member, already someone catches my eye a few rows further in front of me, who looks at me with a beaming smile.
A sunshine smile, which in my opinion I have encountered far too often in recent days.
Annoyed, I break our eye contact and put away my backpack.
When I lift my gaze again, I flinch. Suddenly he is already standing in front of me.
I grab my bag and push past him.
I'm already in the hallway when I realize he's following me. Annoyed, I turn to face him, causing him to almost run into me.
"WHAT?" At my annoyed tone, he takes a step back and gives me an apologetic smile.
"Listen, I know you made your point very clear yesterday but since we have to do the project together now, can't you try to be okay with me being there at least until the end of it? So, do we want to be friends temporarily?"
I raise an eyebrow and don't say a word, it seems to make him uneasy as he asks why I don't answer.
"I'm thinking, don't interrupt me."
"Okay, but could you think a little faster, I have to go to my shift in a minute."
I just stare at him.
"Anyway, give me your phone." I give it to him hesitantly and then his phone rings.
Great, I should have thought about it before.
"Just text me when you have time for the project." he smiles at me and then he's already disappeared into the mass of students.
Sighing, I put my phone back in my pocket and make my way to the library, already looking for some information.
"YN!"
I wince and turn in the direction from which I heard my name.
"Yn , Sweety. Where are you going? Do you have a minute?"
"Hey MiCha, I was just going to the library, wanna come?"
She pushes her sleeve up a little to look at her wristwatch and frowns slightly. "I'll come with you but I don't have long." she smirks. "I have a date with someone."
"Have you finally accepted one of the boys who always ask you out?"
"Not really, unfortunately we still have to meet in secret." she sighs and hangs her head a little.
"No, don't tell me he has a girlfriend. MiCha!"
" Oh, don't worry Sweety. He promised me he'd break up with her."
She winks at me and I just shake my head with furrowed brows.

Once in the library, we find a quiet place, a table in a corner.
I have a stack of about ten books in front of me, in contrast to my friend who is bored chewing her gum, resting her head on her hand and looking at me.
My cell phone, which is lying next to my book, vibrates and I look to see who has written to me.
After reading the message, I lower the phone onto my book with a sad sigh.
"Sweety, what's wrong? You look like someone died." she says with a laugh. But I don't feel like laughing.
"I had a date with SooHyun today but he canceled again."
Suddenly, MiCha also gets a message. "Oh, I'm sorry." she says as she pulls her phone out of her pocket and reads her message.
"I'm really sorry but I have to go my date texted."
She gets up, hangs her bag around her and is already turning to leave when she comes back to me.
"Oh Yn, I have to do a little elaboration on a famous actor tomorrow.
But I don't think I can do it today," she gives me a sad puppy dog look. "Could you maybe help me out with that?" she asks, batting her eyelashes.
I don't really want to! But it's not like I can just leave her hanging. I sigh heavily and nod, "Yeah, I guess so. Do you have a particular person in mind?"
Immediately she smiles at me. "No, you have free choice" she says in a sweet voice. "Oh and it's supposed to be four pages long." she throws me an air kiss. "Thanks, and see you soon." She warbles as she runs for the exit.
I put my books aside and start on 'her' essay.
After about two hours I'm done, I put all the books back on the shelves and gather my things.
I make my way home, passing through a beautiful little park, where I sit down on a bench and admire the clear light blue sky. There is not a cloud to see and one hears everywhere the birds chirping.
After a few minutes I realize that I have a little headache, since I have not eaten or drunk much since yesterday morning.
So I make my way to the café.
Once there, I order a coffee and a blueberry muffin.
I'm about to go to one of the free tables when I turn around and almost bump into someone.
I look up to apologize but the apology sticks in my throat.
"Yn, what are you doing here? Did you miss me?" he asks with a big grin and winks at me.
Of course, how could I forget. Hoseok works here.
"I forgot you worked here," I say dryly.
"Ouch." he says playfully offended and grabs the place where his heart is. Playwright
I'm about to squeeze past him to a table when I feel dizzy again, swaying, grabbing my aching head and feeling like I'm about to topple over.
However, I am held in an upright position by my upper arms.
"Shit, Yn! Are you okay?" Hoseok asks worriedly and leads me to one of the chairs, to the table I was about to go to.
He sits me down on the chair and kneels in front of me as he puts his hand on my forehead. His hand is warm and at the touch I get an unusual feeling of familiarity and savety.
"Damn, you have a fever. Hold on a second, I'll be right back." He runs toward the kitchen and disappears into it.
There are black spots in front of my eyes and I try to blink them away. All of a sudden I get cold and start shivering.
After a minute he comes back, a glass of water in one hand and a jacket in his arm.
He hands me the glass and while I take small sips he puts the jacket around me, which immediately makes me feel hot.
A waitress comes with my order, places it on the table in front of me, and then turns to Hoseok. She asks him anxiously if everything is alright and he answers something I don't really understand.
She leaves and he gets up and goes to a dark wooden door, knocks, waits briefly and then enters.
