San

A loud knock on the door brought me out of the thoughts I had been lost in after what Jimin had told me. The door opened before we even had a chance to open it ourselves.

Jongho came rushing in, breathing heavily, as if he had come running.

"Jin... He's here and apparently he's in danger because he's wandering around alone and the demon wants him," he said panicking.

Jimin and I exchanged confused glances.

"What... what demon are you talking about? And what's Jin doing here?" Jimin asked, my stomach churning as I suddenly got a really bad feeling. Something inside me told me that Jin had to get out of here.

"Longer story, you'll freak out.... But there'll be time for that later. Let's find him first." he shooed us out instead of giving a proper answer.

Worried, we began to search while Jongho mobilized the others.

Taemin could be really useful now, but instead he had disappeared with Yeosang, where they were doing God knows what. I was a bit offended that he first made out with me and then just ran away because of my brother.

Although I wasn't really jealous, I felt more like I'd been pushed away.

Jimin saw how I was brooding inside while we were looking and took my hand, which he squeezed lovingly. This small gesture was enough to make me smile again and push the bad thoughts away.

I was able to concentrate more on the search, but my worries about Jin took over again. We quickly searched the lower floor, but apart from our friends, including a very disheveled Taehyung and a somewhat battered Yunho, we hadn't found anything. That left two more floors.

There was no sign of Taemin and Yeosang either. One floor up, we found Jin in one of the rooms, kissing a really hot stranger on the bed.

I looked at my big brother with a raised eyebrow, while Jimin cleared his throat. Namjoon stuck his head in the door behind us and mumbled to himself.

"And how are we supposed to know if that's Seonghwa or Asmodaeus?"

Jin and the stranger looked up in surprise, and as soon as he recognized us, worry, relief, anger and shame were reflected on his face at the same time.

"Who is Asmodaeus?" Jin then asked, irritated.

"And what are you thinking, lying to me and coming here of all places?" he continued angrily, causing Jimin and I to look guilty.

"It's because of Yeosang... He's still here." I started to speak, but stopped when I saw tears in Jin's eyes. He didn't know anything about ghosts and that Yeosang was even physically here. I also doubted that he would believe us if he didn't see him himself.

When Jongho came in, his eyes grew wide and he pulled Jin away from the man, who was watching the whole thing with amusement.

"I'm grateful to you for protecting Jinnie, but I'm no danger to him," he said with a grin.

But before he could take another step back towards Jin, Namjoon stood between the two of them and stopped, looking stony-faced.

"I have no idea whether you're this Seonghwa or the demon, but until that's clear, you're not getting any closer to him," he said firmly.

Jin's expression became more and more confused and at the word demon, he raised an eyebrow.

"Could you explain to me what this is all about?" He didn't seem to like being separated from this Seonghwa/demon or whoever he was.

"I could take care of that if you come with me." a voice sounded from the door and when I looked, the same guy was standing there again...

The others also looked helplessly back and forth between the two, except for the two identical-looking guys, who stared each other down in a duel of glances until the one who was there first spoke up.

"You'd better keep your hands off him Asmodaeus. The fact that he's here now doesn't change anything." he said hatefully and then easily pulled Jin past Namjoon and back to his side.

"What if we call his bluff and let him decide for himself?" Asmodaeus said smugly.

"Not until he gets his memories back. Besides, I hardly think he'll voluntarily go to the demon who killed his brother," the other, who was apparently called Seonghwa, rebuffed him.

I guess I wasn't the only one who was totally out of it, but when I heard that this Asmodaeus was responsible for Yeosang's death, I wanted to go after him, but Jimin held me down.

"You can't just go after a demon like that... what if he kills you too?" he asked worriedly and I let him take me in his arms.

"What's everyone's problem with me being a demon? It's not that unusual. Last time I counted, there were 12 demons in this house with me..."
