When Jimin came back into the room and put our food on the table, he looked at me in surprise as I paid no attention to the delicious smelling dish and instead grabbed him by the wrist and pulled him out of the room.

"What's going on? I thought you were starving..." he asked, confused, but followed me as I walked quickly towards the foyer.

"Jin is in danger, Asmodaeus is with him pretending to be Seonghwa." I explained without turning to him as I was in a hurry to get to my big brother.

"Why would you think that, Jungkook locked him up?" he objected, but drew in a sharp breath when he heard my answer.

"I just had a visitor, you might not even know them, they moved in next door to us after Yeosang died and apparently they're also archangels or something, but... well, Chanyeol and Baekhyun were with me and warned me."

Jimin stopped for a moment and held me tightly. His eyes had become huge.

"San... You saw them and they talked to you? Do you actually know who they really are?" he asked in awe and I smiled wryly.

"I have no idea who Baekhyun is, but I suspect that Chanyeol is actually called Lucifer and is therefore my father," I said dryly, as the dagger I had tucked into my waistband didn't lead me to believe otherwise.

"You're right, that was your father... and Baekhyun... well... he's my father... sort of..." he reworded as I pulled him further up the stairs. A little irritated, I shook my head slightly. Did angels have parents? Weren't they created in the same way as demons? Or was Jimin only half an angel, like me? But we could talk about that later, for now it was more important to save my brother, but I didn't even have any idea how we were going to do that.

When we arrived at the door of the room where the two of them were, Namjoon was already standing there, desperately trying to open the door, which was glowing an unnatural green and seemed to be shimmering. Every time he touched it, he was thrown back and landed against the opposite wall with a painful gasp. Nevertheless, he picked himself up again and again and tried again.

"Namjoon... this is angel fire... I don't know where he got it, but I suspect Jin set it by mistake. Demons can't get through it. The good thing is, they can't get out either." Jimin then said, stopping the big guard from trying again.

"Then how do we get in?" I asked Jimin and a small smile appeared on his face.

"We just go through, we're not demons." he answered me before turning back to Namjoon.

"Get the others and especially send Yeosang here, we need the three brothers all together now, I think the time has come to destroy Asmodaeus for good. Otherwise, we won't be able to save Jin now that he's got him on his own." he ordered him firmly and then took my hand. He was right, I could feel that it was getting to the point. My father's visit had confirmed this to me once again, as he certainly wouldn't have turned up here for no reason, we were running out of time. While we waited for Yeosang, I pulled Jimin close to me and hugged him as tightly as I could, because neither of us knew how things would turn out.

"No matter what else happens... Never forget that I love you more than anything," I whispered next to his ear and immediately felt his penetrating gaze on me.

"I love you too, San, but don't start saying goodbye here now, I know you can do it for sure. I know your true selves and I know what you're capable of," he assured me and then tenderly placed his lips on mine, where they stayed and we kissed gently while we waited for my brother. It wasn't until he arrived that we breathlessly parted.

"Okay, let's go inside. I'm ready." Yeosang said firmly and took my other hand while nodding in encouragement. He was also sure that we would manage somehow. Together we stepped through the wafting door and suddenly stood in the room, but one of my hands suddenly felt empty and as I looked around, it sent hot and cold shivers through my body. Jimin was no longer there...
