"Cash! Gloss! Enobaria!" She smiled broadly, walking toward the familiar faces. The elder blonde woman embraced her whilst the other two simply smiled,

"Oh it's so good to see you Cassia" Cashmere smiled, holding her close, "and I swear you look more grown up everytime we meet" she cupped her face with her hands. Cashmere often acted like a big sister of sorts to Cassia, she truly did care for the district one victor.

"Well she is getting old" Gloss chuckled, the teen shot him a soft glare before laughing slightly, "what you are goldie, you're getting old" Gloss often called her goldie instead of her name, she guessed it was because she delivered a single golden rose to her 'favourite' tribute before the parade each year, her word was gold dust in the Capitol so her grandfather found a way for her to share her opinions. The tribute she chose often received more sponsors than the others.

"Oh careful there Gloss, we wouldn't want to upset the little princess" Enobaria mocked, Cassia laughed once more, she knew she needn't be fully perfect around them, and they knew they could mock her without fear of retaliation. It was gift they granted each other.

"Well, I believe we all owe you a happy birthday!" Cashmere expressed, the two other victors chimed in with the greeting,

"Aw thank you guys, really" she looked between their smiling faces,

"Gloss and I got this for you, it's being sent to the Capitol in a month but for a while, you'll be the only one with this design" Cashmere walked behind her and placed a necklace around her neck, it hand diamonds in it and was beautiful.

"Oh thank you, thank you so much" they insisted it was of no problem to them,

"Well, I didn't think you'd want a rock or yeah... so my gift is my presence" Enobaria smirked slightly, Cassia let out a chuckle,

"And what a spectacular gift it is Enobaria" Cassia nodded, Enobaria smiled proudly,

"Oh I know" the group all let out a laugh,

"Oh before I forget, Cash, Gloss my friends won't stop talking about how much they love you" the brother sister duo smiled broadly,

"I do love our fans, our family" Gloss expressed, Cassia olaughed at the act, she knew it was an act.

"If we see them we'll be sure to say hello" Cashmere promised, and with this the group of Victors made their way to interact with other guests.

Cassia knew she must do this too, reluctantly she began meaningless conversations with the richest of the Capitol folk, they all were delighted to speak with her. After around thirty minutes of this, she still hadn't found her friends.

"You look like you're enjoying this" a glare formed on her face as she turned around to see the smirking face of Finnick Odair.

"I'm still mad at you" she snapped, folding her arms, he laughed at her.

"Oh please, so what your clothes got a bit wet, it's not like you were hurt or anything" he froze and his smirk faded, a look of guilt formed in his eyes, "you weren't hurt right?"

"No" she answered, his cocky expression resumed, she rolled her eyes at him, "but that's not the point!"

"Then what is the point sweetheart?" Her cheeks flushed red at the nickname, which only increased the level of cockiness on his face.

"The point is...that I don't appreciate being betrayed and thrown in an ocean that stinks of fish piss!" He laughed at her, then looked sorry.

"Oh I am sorry if I hurt you Cassia. I mean it, I'm only just getting to know you and I have to figure out your boundaries" he reached out, resting his hand on her shoulder, she didn't move out of his touch,
