Finnick Odair was stood before her, wearing next to nothing. Her eyes widened, what was going on.
"What the fuck?" Cassia asked, confusion rushing through her veins, he smirked slightly. It sent a wave of heat through her body, he smirked more at this.
"Hello Cassleia" he stated, stepping toward her, she moved back, attempting to escape him. He looked slightly confused.
"What are you doing..." she backed up, she was leaning against her door. "Please just stop..." she whispered, he looked at her confused.
"What's wrong..." he asked, moving away from her, a look of concern and guilt adjourning his face.
"I don't know what you're doing but please put some fucking clothes on and tell me what the hell is going on...." He obliged, silently. No words were discussed as he changed into a pair of trousers, shirt and a knitted jumper.
"Sweetheart, do you not know what's happening here?" He asked, walking toward her, slowly. Waves of worry in the oceans of his eyes.
"No...whats going on?" She asked, fear still consuming her. He sighed, moving away slightly.
"Oh I'm sorry..." he started, taking a seat on the sofa in her room. "I umm...your grandfather hired me..." he tried to explain, looking down at his lap.
"Hired you to what....?" She questioned, he sighed, looking up at her. Sorrowful.
"Hired me to sleep with you" her eyes widened in shock, she felt tears fill her eyes.
"WHAT THE FUCK!" She exclaimed, anger and horror rushing through every crevice of her body. "That's so messed up..." he looked at her confused, she sat down on the edge of her bed. Running her hands through her hair, "I'm sorry he did that..." she looked up at him, he smiled ever so slightly.
"Thank you....I'll leave...." He stood up, gathering himself, looking ready to leave.
"Wait... what will my grandfather do if you leave?" She asked, he sighed, concern filled her eyes. Just because she didn't want to sleep with Finnick Odair didn't mean he should be punished. She knew her grandfather punished people who didn't follow his orders.
"Oh you shouldn't worry about any of that, I'm sorry about this..." he went to walk out but she jumped up and grabbed onto his wrist.
"But I am going to worry about that, so just sleep on the couch or something... it'll stop you getting in trouble...right?" He looked into her eyes, his gaze was on her. Heat rushed to her cheeks, a smile escaped onto his lips.
"Thank you.... You don't need to do this though...." He walked past her, back over to the couch. Her heartbeat increased.
"Yes I do, I don't think it's fair for you to get into trouble because of me, so yes I need to" Cassia only wanted to help people, she never wanted to hurt people or to be the reason for their hurt. Although, she knew in many ways, she was.
"Thank you Cassleia" he looked grateful, she thought it was genuine, but victors were trained in their persona so well, she could've been wrong.
"It's Cassia, I only get called Cassleia if I'm in trouble" he chuckled and nodded, smiling at her,
"I'll keep that in mind" she walked to her cupboard and grabbed some blankets and pillows. He thanked her once more before she climbed into her own bed.
As the hours passed, she couldn't sleep. The knowledge of someone else in her room prevented this.
"Can't sleep?" Finnick asked, she pushed herself up to see him staring at the ceiling. He looked deep in thought.
