Back at their home, the turtles began arguing like they always do.

“We need to be more careful. We can’t keep making human allies like this.” clarified Leo to his brothers.

“She needed our help, Leo,” said Donnie.

“Speaking about Akari, what were you saying to her, Raph?” asked Mikey.

“That you almost gave her cat sink water. Why?” Raphael raised a brow.

“You sure?” teased Mikey

“Quit it, or I will twist your arm!” Raph threatened.

Leonardo had enough, “Be quiet, you two. What are we gonna tell Splinter? That we screwed up once again?”

“No,  you are the leader, so YOU screwed up,” Raphael said as he made his way to the kitchen.

“Of course.”

Raphael found it extremely bothersome that Mikey would constantly make fun of him. Until he noticed Master Splinter approaching them, all he wanted to do was grab Mikey and fling him across the room.  Master Splinter was a mutant rat, in contrast to the turtles. When he went up to his sons, he saw that they were acting strangely.

“What’s this all about, Michaelangelo?” Then it stopped. “Oh, I was just messing around.” Mikey smiled so wide. He couldn't fool him.

“All right. What happened?” he asked his sons.

Leonardo took a deep breath, " We were hanging out with April and Casey last night. We ..uh rescued a girl who knows about us." Splinter raised a brow. "But it's taken care of. We talked, hung out, and she promised not to say anything."

"And you are certain she is trustworthy?" his father asked.

“That’s what we were going to talk about just now.’ Leonardo glanced at his brothers.

“Is this girl the reason why Michaelangelo is teasing his brother?”

Raphael snarled at Mikey, saying, "You know how he is. He makes stuff up to make me angry." In response to all of that. Before Splinter approached Raphael and softly placed his hand on his shoulder, saying, "That is enough, Raphael," Mikey took cover behind Donnie. "Save that energy for the dojo. You should invite her over if you believe she can be trusted. Maybe Raphael could show her around our house."

"You too, sensei?"

Akari's parents did, in fact, arrive for dinner. It was quiet until they asked how her day was going as if every day were different. Her usual response, "Same as always," Her mother did look concerned and asked if she wanted to go to a public school, but home school seemed a better choice to her unless she figured out which school April and Casey were attending. It was a good idea. “Public school does sound fun.”
