Her friends arrived at the apartment. They were all having a blast just like every time they came by. April noticed Akari in deep thought, "Hey, everything alright?" Akari turned to her, "Uhh yeah, it's just that. I need to tell you guys something...something important." April nodded and rounded the boys up.

The group gathered in the living room. They all sat on the couches and waited patiently. The girl stood in front of everyone. "I figured something out, but you guys have to trust me on this one,"

Everyone gave her a worried look, "Well we got your back. Just say it."

The girl took a breath and said, "My family is working for the shredder. You guys mentioned him and the foot clan. I even asked Donnie for more info. I didn't want to believe it at first, but it's true."

"Wait a minute, Did you know about us beforehand?" "Are you spying on us?" "What did you tell Shredder?" Raphael didn't look too happy.

"Hold on, Raph, she hasn't finished."

"It's okay. I understand if you don't believe me, but I have a plan. I want to help you guys defeat him. He is causing so much trouble for this city from what I've heard and seen."

"Thank goodness you did your research. We don't want you on his side," Donnie said.

"and you helped me."

There was a knock on the door. The turtles quickly got up and headed to her room to hide. April and Casey did their best to organize everything as Akari went to check the door. It was her parents.

She opened the door, and her parents came in carrying groceries. Is this late? "Hello honey, oh, we have guests!"

"Keep it down, honey, it's a bit late."

"Right, well, we are gonna be away for two days, so we bought some things so you can make food instead of ordering take-out."

"Thanks, Mom."

" We will put things away while you hang out with your friends."

Casey and April walked to Akari's room while she walked behind them. They closed the door and opened the window. The turtles made their way out. "We will see you soon. We need some time to convince Raph.."

"It's okay, Leo. He seemed pretty upset, and I think you can convince him."

"I will try my best. Donnie and Mikey trust you."

"And what about you?"

"Honestly, I don't know what to think, but you are our friend."

"Leo hurry" Mikey rushed him.

"I will see you guys later." Akari closed the window.

Later that night, all her friends had gone home. Her parents are still awake packing. The girl was saddened at the thought of losing her friends. She curled up, hoping this won't end with her being alone again.

Back in the sewers, the turtles all sat on their couch. "How long has she known Donnie?"

"Well as of two days ago. She trusted me with keeping it a secret so we could gather more info together. We were able to gather more info on the warehouses and tracked down others that we missed. If you ask me, she is trustworthy and a great help."

"Just like that, Donnie? What if she is pretending?" Raphael got up.

Leo was getting tired of this mess, "If she did know about us, she wouldn't have acted the way she did when she first saw us."

"Well, she could have been acting the whole time, Leo."

"What's up with you, Raph? I thought you liked her", asked Mikey.

"Quiet, Mikey," shouted Raph.

Leonardo asked the guys to keep it down due to their father's meditation at the time. Leo has enough proof to know she is innocent and has nothing to do with the foot clan. April also backed her up. Akari had asked about the foot clan and if she knew who Karai was. Of course, she didn't because she had no involvement.

Leo kept telling himself to convince Raphael before he did something stupid. Part of him wanted to just let him be. It's not like he will listen, but it is worth a shot. Leo approached Raph as he lifted some weights.

"We need to talk."

"About what?"

"Who else? You have been acting so distrustful towards Akari these days."

Raph sighed, "Yeah, I know." He puts weights down. "I am just worried if it turns out to be true. Anyways, why do you care? Just leave me alone."

One night, the group decided to meet at Akari's. On the rooftop, Raphael stayed on the rooftop. Casey decides to join him, "you are missing the party" he says as he gives Raph a plastic plate piled with pizza slices.

"Thanks man."

"You know, Akari is asking for you."

"She misses me? Not surprise-"

"I think you should talk to her. She is innocent, and you know it. She has nothing to do with that clan."

"Fine. Just not now.."

"You have to do it soon before something happens."
