- Almeer's niqah outfit.
Noor was looking so elegant in her dress. Her eyes shining, cheeks all red, lips covered in crimson red lipstick, hands covered in henna. Her beautiful outer appearance was appreciated by everyone but her deadly emotional pain was known by only her. She was seated in a room between all the ladies. Almeer was outside in the lawn with the men.
Ahad and Moulvi entered the room. Nafeesa brought an empty chair for Moulvi to sit.
He then asked Noor- Noor bint-e-Ahad, Kya aapko Almeer ibn-e-Rasheed ke sath 1 lakh meher me niqah qabool hai? ( Noor d/o Ahad, do you agree to marry Almeer s/o Rasheed with amount of 1 lakh rupees as meher?)
Noor was speechless. She don't have any words in her mouth. She was unable to accept or reject. Everyone eagerly waiting for her 'Qabool hai'.
Nafeesa- Bolo beta, qabool hai na tumhe? ( Say my child, you accept na?)
Noor was sobbing. She slowly said while wiping off her tears- "QABOOL HAI". She then signed the niqah nama with her trembling hands.
Moulvi asked her 3 times the same question and she against her will had to accept and give the same answer all 3 times. Everyone congratulated her. Nafeesa distributed sweets to everyone. Moulvi and Ahad leaved the room and head towards Almeer. They reached the stage where all mens were gathered together. Moulvi carrying the niqah nama with Noor's signature on it.
He asked Almeer- " Almeer ibn-e-Rasheed, kya aapko Noor bint-e-Ahad ke sath niqah qabool hai? (Almeer s/o Rasheed, do you agree to marry Noor d/o Ahad?)
Almeer without any expression on his face, filled with dullness said- "QABOOL HAI".
Moulvi asked Almeer 3 times and he also with the same feeling as Noor said qabool hai.
He was asked to sign the niqah nama. When Moulvi handed him the pen and diary, pen slipped off from his hand.
Almeer- (in mind) Ek pen to sambhala nahi jata abhi mujhse, biwi kya hi sambhalunga! ( I can't handle a pen now, how will I manage a wife!)
Almeer picked up the pen and signed the niqah nama. Everyone congratulated him and hugged him. Sweets were distributed everywhere. Noor was brought on the stage for photo shoot. Both Noor and Almeer were sitting side by side on the sofa. Both were quiet for some time. Noor broke the silence.
Noor- Almeer!
Almeer- Ha bolo (Yeah say)
Noor- Tum khush ho? ( Are you happy?)
Almeer- Tum batao pehle tum ho khush? ( You tell first Are you happy?)
Noor- Not at all.
Almeer- Koi bhala kaise khush ho sakta aisi shadi se? ( How can one be happy with such a marriage?)
Noor- Tumhare abba ne kyu shadi karwa di tumhari? ( Why did you dad get you married?)
Almeer- Taki meri biwi ghar ki zimmedariyan sambhal le or mama achi tabiyat me meri shadi attend kar sake. ( So that my wife can handle all the responsibilities of the house and my mother can see my wedding in a good condition.)
That was when Uzma interrupted them and asked both of them to stand for photos. All the families took photos with the bride and groom. They both were showing no interest in taking photos. Almeer called his father and asked.
Almeer- Bhuk lag rahi hai. Sare tamashe khatam hogaye ho to khana kha lein ham dono? ( I'm hungry. If all the dramas are over, can we both eat?)
Rasheed- Ha ruk jao thode der. (Yes, wait for some time.)
After some time, Zoha takes Noor along with her to the ladies side. Ramsha, Zoha and Noor ate together. Almeer went with his friends and ate with them.
The day passed with all the guests and came the time for farewell. It was 9.00 pm now. Everyone was tired. All of them had the dinner together. Now its time for Noor to bid farewell to everyone.
They were out of their villa. Noor saw Umair was standing in a corner controlling his tears. She ignored each and every person present there and head directly towards Umair. He was just staring at her.
Umair- Masha Allah kitni pyari lag rahi hai meri Noor. Kisi ki nazar na lage. ( Masha Allah my Noor is looking so pretty. Allah protects from evil eye.)
Noor forgot everything and hugged him tightly, slightly crying hidden in his arms. Umair separated.
Noor- Yaad nahi aayegi aapko meri? ( Won't you miss me?)
Umair- Aisa ho sakta hai kya? ( Is this even possible?)
Nafeesa called out for Noor.
Nafeesa- Arey bhai Noor hame bhi yaad karlo. ( Arey Noor we are also present here.)
Umair- Jao Noor mil lo un logo se. ( Go Noor meet them also.)
Noor holded Umair's hand and moved towards everyone.
Ramsha hugged Noor and started crying badly. After all, she was doing over acting in front of Umair. Noor was not at all interested in her hug and cries. She didn't hugged her back.
Rasheed- (to Ahad) Chalein Bhai ab ham nikalte hai. Parso milte hai fir. ( Okay brother we are leaving now. We'll meet soon.)
They made Noor sit in the car's backseat with Almeer. The family headed towards Shah House. Day after tomorrow was the reception.
