"Okay, Sasha, that's enough."
I pried the laptop away from her, mostly out of fear her fuming anger would lead her to throwing it across the room. "He's a creep, Hailey!" Sasha exclaimed, "You need to block him and tell your manager to ban him from the diner."
"But what if he's telling the truth? Maybe it was just a coincidence."
Sasha rolled her eyes and continued scolding me. "Don't be so gullible, Hailey. He is old and creepy and you should cut all contact with him."
"Sasha..."
"We should get a restraining order," she suggested.
I laughed softly, "I think we're just overreacting." I don't know if I was trying to convince her or myself but I could tell this didn't convince her in the least as her eyes filled with warnings. Despite her disagreement, I said nothing. With a look of annoyance, she left my room, muttered how stupid I am and slammed the door behind her.
