"We've managed to search through her computer and found the conversations you were referring to."

I am sitting at the police station with Hailey's parents. Her mother grips my hand tightly upon the news. I can feel the hope soaring through the air. "However, nobody by the name Christopher Enchiltean matched our databases." There is a moment of dead silence as the three of us process these words.

"What?" I whisper, "he was using a fake name?" I was so positive that this information would help us find Hailey but now I feel our hope deflating like a balloon.

"Do not worry," the officer continues, "we managed to find an IP address. Our only problem is it's an internet cafe. We have contacted the owner and they agreed to allow us to review their tapes and sign in logs and we are sure we can continue to move forward with our investigation."

"Thank you," her mother half-heartedly says as her and Hailey's father stand to leave. I follow them out of the station. They both hug me and try to remain optimistic, telling me this will all work out if we continue to pray.

But I have another plan as I dial Jimmy's number.
